Hello everyone, I've recently started playing this game and I'd like to know the consensus on what are the best short range bot/weapon setup, and the best long range bot/weapon setup, without using gold, or real life money. I would appreciate any and all advice and information anyone can give me. I don't have real money to spend on this game so I really need to know what's the best setup I can use to make the most of my account. Thanks in advance.

Short range: piñatas, thunder, magnums, taran
Long range: kwk, kang dae, trebuchet, trident
Stay away from zenit and necro(something) and be useful for the team instead and grab beacons! Dont be that sniper that sits in one spot whole game and makes it 5vs6

-Chainer Mazuera Don't ignore mid-range, but short range is your best friend. Don't worry about not having money, with time and effort you can get virtually anything in this game. And making the most of your account. Try everything? There is no hard and fast rule for best, and best will change depending on what level you are on.

-Chainer Mazuera If I were just starting, my plan would be the following: 1. Buy 3 Schutzes and arm them with ECC Thunder. I will not upgrade the bot nor weapon. 2. With this setup I will only play Dead City and Power Plant maps 3. Buy the 4th slot first, then I will buy another Schutze-thunder 4. Save for Gepard and arm with Pinatas. I will not upgrade the bot nor weapon. Buy a second Gep-Pinata 5. Once you reach the level to get workshop points, save your workshop points to get Magnums and use the saved up silver to upgrade Magnums to level 6. Keep saving workshop points to arm your 2 Geps with magnums. 6. Save for 5th slot.

For close in my preferences are Thunders, Tarans, and Magnums. The plasmas can allow you to take on bots - if need be, of the next heavier class. Then again, nothin like a 4-7/7/7 Gep takin out a Griff. Griff pilot must love that! This are not hard and fast. Just this pilots experience and opinions. Plus I detest long reloads!
