My opinion, fwiw, is that if you don't like light bots, you won't be happy getting either the Gary or the Stalker. BUT, if you think there is a bit of fun in running around in a really fast bot with a special ability that can play havok with anyone you want to mess with, then both will get more play than just tasks. That's basically the reason I still have a light in my hanger 80% of the time. The fun factor. I like the agility and speed. Whether it is beacons, distractions, or flanking attacks, they provide the fast paced action I prefer. I rarely roll out with more than 1 light, since that would be too much of a detriment to the team, but 1 can be a game changer in the late game. If there are 2 or 3 bots left on each team, and they are all heavies or slower mediums, 1 light bot can turn the tide by turning the beacons. Plus, if you play with squads, a capper has more meaning with a team that can capitalize on whatever your job is... whether capping, chaos-causing, or flanking. Darn you. I bought the stalker. Will have it lvl 8 by Saturday. -Amid

I just had to share a stalker story. I dueled a pdb griff in dead city. I had it down to just one more piñata blast to kill it. So I decided to mess with it some. I activated stealth and sat in front of it. That is inevitability, knowing you have 8 seconds to live and there is nothing you can do about it.

Fyi, it is possible to be hit in stealth mode. Not sure which weapons can hit except for Thunders. I remember that one painfully. Thunder Carnage comes up but my stealth is on so I feel all safe then, pop, I'm gone.

Also the same reason I always start out with my RDB Griff or twin Trident Carney, little [ fatherless children ] always go for center beacon....right into my reach
