What are the optimal way(s) to get more platinum?

Really not any hidden ways. You get daily tasks, 25 pt a day I believe, and you can get another 5 for watching ads... Other than that, cash.

Was able to accumulate 1300 (after the mandatory introduction upgrades) from the Titan introduction. Down to 1k now. Got an antimatter module + upgrades to weapons. Saving more for future Titan. Didn't like any of the current lineup.

Just do the daily task. IMHO, Spending RL isn't worth it.

Arthur is great! I have been dropping Pt to upgrade him after initially saving 450 to buy him. Almost have him to 100 Defense Points, at which point he will be impervious to 50% of damage even without the massive shield.

But w daily offers, you can get enough for an Ao Ming in < 1 month. That’s on par w premium WS content. 

Currently, it is unfortunate but not surprising that titan equipment is difficult to acquire outside real money. The free accrual contrasted with cost of leveling is quite stark, designed to make money off platinum purchase, as is usually the case with new content. At least the accrual isn’t isolated to giveaways and loot crates. My feeling is that after this initial period and the next few titans are introduced, they may work platinum acquisition into the post match reward system. What would be cool is if platinum rewards were associated with shooting titans or doing damage with titan weapons.

My advice for now is with free daily platinum, once you get the titan you want,

1) concentrate exclusively on maxing you’re titan weapons. Obviously this means after you have the weapons you really want

2) next, even before upgrading anything on the titan, get some Antimatter Reactors and work on leveling those up to L8 (10% damage boost)

3) next, concentrate on the titan upgrade that increases damage output:

- for Ao Ming, upgrading the Core has a damage output aspect that applies to all four weapons

- for Arthur, upgrade the Engine to increase the damage output of the Blastwave

- for Kid, upgrade either the Engine, which will increase Stove damage, or the Core, which will increase the damage output due to enhancing Damage Mitigation. That means the Kid weapons will perform better against mechs with damage resistance, such as Leech and Phantom, while the Alpha weapon is engaged.

I have about 1000 pt right now, i guess i could buy an ao ming, but doesnt seem like i would be able to upgrade it too far.

      I like Arthur too.  He kicks boot whenever I drop him. I am focusing on his weapons, though more on the Alpha weapon Vengeance now.  He survives pretty well for the moment.  I havent used any of the new modules yet. He is one bot that makes me think "I wish I had recorded this match." Lol.

I won't pay a cent for anything to do with a Titan.. But right now, they are what PIX is shoving down our throats..
I saved my PT and just upgraded weapons.. When I saved enough for the Arthur, I got him and transferred the upgraded weapons from Kidd to Arthur.. My 2nd hanger does not have a Titan... I will not put one in there..
Personally I was ML1 at the Titan drop, now down to ML3 and letting the MM take me to where I feel comfortable playing.. I feel no need to spend RM on a new currency, one that PIX said they wasn't going to add.. Just ain't feeding the bear.. literally

I am up to like 563. Bought 100 when they had a sale and am just saving for whatever. Not upgrading the pos Kid.
