Attrition was fun for the first few games, but when your teammates are more concerned with getting points then keeping the beacons and actually winning the game, it gets old quick. Especially when you bust your batootie to get those beacons, do good damage, and still lose because four beacons get turned due to teammates not caring about them. One person capping makes for a tough win.
So WHY isn't there a skirmish mode? No beacons, just kill the enemy team. Simple and the non-team players will actually do something beneficial.
Have it alternate just like the maps.
Just thought thats been going through my head fairly consistently lately.

New league rewards should get people capping more. Certainly has in my games.
A death match mode is probably coming but without beacons to force players to move, it'seems likely to be camper heaven.

This, beacons are in place to make people co-operate as a team more. Without them it'll most likely turn into COD.

There is currently one game mode to allow the MM to be the most efficient in processing to place the most games in the shortest period of time...Everything is about the core speed of the MM because it has to be. If you add any additional parameters it slows the processes. This game is a pick it up and play right now game. The MM is designed to fulfill that. Other game modes would be great but it might entail wait times to meet criteria. Pix has mentioned other modes coming
