Damn, how hard is it to be a sausage flinger? Pix gives you game on a golden f'n platter. Just stand at edge of maps and shoot at anything in range. And yeah everything if in your f'n range. You bunch of wussy cowards.

I've seen Brit bots one shotted by griffs with oaks/crv's/pins. I'm not sure why they need to balance agains that with blowing them up in 2 shots at 600m with tridents. Treb's at least take a while.

Instant win these days is 2-3 ttfurys/carnages and some griffs with missiles once your stalkers have grabbed beacons. Now just sit back and watch the red team try to take center beacon. ....they get close, unload tridents....they are dead now. Wait for next wave.

Well Snipers suppress and back up I think. By RDB Griff isn't enough to take out a full health Lance or Leo. Some Treb blasts are welcome as backup. What annoys is when they clearly killsteal.

In my opinion, snipers are absolutely useless outside of whittling away at midrangers. They don't "suppress" bots, at best they are meant to decrease the effectiveness of midrangers. Outside of that role, there is no reason not to have a midranger instead of a longranger. And even then, the effectiveness of longrangers at destroying midrangers is questionable compared to midrangers themselves.

Enemy long range, if the red team is heavy with em, can be extremely demoralizing. Especially on the more open maps. That said, it's normally possible to work around them utilizing cover and/or appropriately shielded mechs. Just have to take your time.
And on the bright side... at least they're not capping beacons, right? Not normally, at least.

Which is true, but even a dual Treb shot can be rather vexing for a 6/6 hangar like mine. Specially if they are perched up on vantage points like the ramps in Dead City with full coverage on the flanks.
