What’s new:
— New heavy robot prototype: HP 180K, speed 30 km/h, Dash ability, ability cooldown 20s, physical shield HP 180K;
— New heavy machine gun prototype: ammo 50; reload time 10s, range 800m, damage per hit 2400;
— Updated Rogatka design and rebalance: HP 135K ? 150K; speed 48 ? 60 km/h; cooldown 10 ? 7s;
— New skins for Destrier, Griffin, Leo, Vityaz and Rogatka
*Also I noticed some re-skining on the Tulumbus and Pin! Let me now if you find any other hidden "new" stuff. :-)

The Rog is a dream come true. Every time I look at the one in my hangar (the only bot I spent gold on), the hate for Pix begins to flow. If they fix it up, much would be forgiven.

Time to level up my Rog. That's a 2500au medium.
Also, while I know it's popular, did the griffin really need more skins when so many bots have none? And who's going to buy a destrier skin?
Nice looking dash heavy. Kind makes the galahad and lance obsolete though.

Very interested in the Rogatka' *swoon*.
I don't know how much pix dips into the forum, however there has been a consistent (and civilised) consensus that the Rog needed some love, in a wide range of posts.
I suspect that this is very much a test of ideas for the Rog and that the final release will be less of a buff.
If this buff was to be combined with the release of the dash 'bots then it may well be that such buffs could be necessary to be competitive.
My first thoughts on the current milieu is that all 3 buffs would be a bit too much. The key buff for me is jump cool-down: that really makes a difference; speed, perhaps half the buff; HP was OK as it was.

That said, with the Raijin and Fuujin skins, this represents a move towards the Japanese aesthetic. Huh. Tryna capture that market huh? They'd have better luck with bubblegum pink "moe" bots.
Also, that horrid green skin for Griffin, what is that, St. Patrick's special Shamrock skin?xd Hope they sell it on discount on St. Paddys.

How are you into the test server already? Not open till tomorrow? Honestly I have no idea. It wasn't supposed to be open until today...I guess someone left the door open lol. It seems as though the person responsible for rolling out the test server stuff is a bit overworked or has very poor attention to detail. I've seen do many type-o's, mistakes and wrong dates on the emails it's ridiculous. I make a habit out of checking everything out...I'm VERY thorough. |
