I've just finished a thoroughly enjoyable match on Yamantau in which I spent the entire duration in my Zeus Carnage, dodging what I am assuming was a leo with three ghekkos. I say 'assuming' because he stayed so far away that I never got a good look at him.
Whilst it was fun dodging in and out of cover, hopefully annoying the hell out of this guy, I managed to take quite a few pot shots at other reds as they tried to take the center beacon from my knife fighter allies. We won and I thought I had scored quite well, but was pleasantly surprised to find I had taken top spot with 626,720 damage.
Anyone perform better with that set up? For the sake of fair comparison, my Carny is lvl 10 with 2 x lvl10 Zeus'.

I don't keep track of my damage highs with particular setups... however, dual Zeus on Carny or Natty has brought home very nice damage numbers, a whole lotta times! It really is a 「deteriorated bum-bum」 weapon. Nice job!

I play a Trident Carnage and as long as my team has some good brawlers that I can support (and they keep the reds a mid-range from me), I've seen good numbers as well on Yamantau Springfield and Canyon |

I scored just under 800k on Shenzen. I love my Zues Carnage. So jealous lol. I am like 2-3 days away from having enough WSP. However I don't have all the gold for the zeus. I think I'm going to be an assassin with him first and throw 2 thunders on him while I collect enough. I may end up liking that too much lol. But I do want to transition my RDB griff to the Zeus Carny as my main long ranger. |

I've seen some nice threads on Rhinos but ultimately I believe the damage output of the Rhino to be lower. Just my opinion. I believe with the Carny I can dish out more on an average DPS rate with several setups which is why I like him. |

I take my 7/7 Zeus-Carny out for a spin now and then, and when conditions are ripe it makes for a really fun match. I've topped 500 k during those times.
I also feel like Raiden or somesuch every time those cannons go off. BOOM-cracklecracklecrackle...

9/11 zeus on my carny and best is a full-game yam with something like 625k.
Granted they just ignored me under the covered bridge and kept marching to center in a conga line...

The prevalence of trebs makes me hate mine.  Carnage Zeus is the perfect counter to Tridents. You still need to use cover to save your shield though. |

I just finished a match, they had 2 ttfurys and a zuescarnage. guess what. long distace map. That means, unless I have long range weps, which I don't. I instant lose.
I have no chance of closing the distance to engage those bots. I ran my ancelot at them, got off 2 shots with tarans. Then dead.
Seriously, they need to address the range imbalance. I call it an imbalance because came favored 300-350m when i started and that's all i have leveled up. I don't have anything other than lvl 5 molots that have more than 350m.
Seriously makes the game just a battle of sausage flingers. Knife fighting is dead.

Seriously makes the game just a battle of sausage flingers. Knife fighting is dead. Stop blindly rushing forward in Yam. With your bot lineup you need support. Either rush the center with 1-2 other blue bots, or wait for your own team's midrangers and snipers to do their job. Also, if storming the middle doesn't work at all because you got a bad team, go to the ground, behind the columns, find out which side, which route and which target positions work for you. And finally, consider making that 1 midranger: Zeus or Trident based, or just plain old RDB, depending on which of your current leveled-up bots you want to use for it. In a week you'll have decent weapons for it, and in 2-3 weeks very competitive ones. Also learn to play it conservatively. So on knifer maps it'll be your last bot, which you should try make last until the end or at least be the last blue standing. On long range maps you gotta watch what other blues field and take it out at the right time (probably 2nd or 3rd) to make team magic happen. |

Lol, I don't blindly rush. However if we don't grab beacons quickly we've lost anyway. And unfortunately squad groups do whatever they want. It's not like there's coordination. I usually try to stick behind a group. That's the best anyone can do.
So don't make assumptions that people are blinding rushing. Some maps have no cover. Some maps handicap short rangers. Some players haven't played long enough to adjust to a rebalance.
I would definitely add a couple mid/long rangers. I figure that will take about 5 months. When I'm finally there I'm sure pix will rebalance to molots. And I'll have to start all over.
I know you mean well and are giving solid advice. I'm just pissed that they short game is so nerfed these days it's frustrating to play.

Every once in a while the MM throws me a match where I both am on the winning side and place high in damage or get most beacons or even both. But it is so rare... I guess this is combination of me not being good enough, and the Au winners typically having better hangars (*mutters something about bloody tankers*). Then again, I don't really care about the match reward gold any more. Daily task gold is the gold I get, anything more is a bonus. I just got the 5th slot though, so I'll see if that changes now... If you mean winning matches, then what is your win %? |

My midrangers get shredded if I'm unwise, and canny knifers are always the ones to do it. Stay out of range, be patient, and wait for them to become impatient and over-extend themselves. The meta focuses on longer matches now. Be an ambush predator. |

My problem is trebs. Triple treb furies are just everywhere now. I hate them more then tridents. Cheapest, laziest, skilless, buttholes that sit there the whole game in one bot. They wreck a carnie in seconds.

I have a carnage lvl 10 with only one zeus lvl 10 and a trident lvl 10. Sometimes, when I mangage to keep it alive through the entire battle, I can do similar damage with it. But it depends on how lucky I am to find a good shooting position, which kind of opponents I encounter and how much they attack me or not. |

They are both regulars in my hanger at 9/9. Carnage rocks! |
