I Have a Zeus Carnage ? which is a 600 meter weapon, so my question is should I get some 1100 meter weapons? Like the Trebuchet or get Trident's for the splash damage ? I like the idea of having the range of 1100 meters and cutting through shields.. but the Tridents splash damage also looks good even though it is also a 600 meter weapon.. decisions decisions...

I just bought my first Trident only an hour ago. From what I've read the splash damage it delivers is regarded as more effective generally compared to the Trebuchet.

I think you should get dual ancels. I hear they are better than tridents/trebs/zues.
Just sayin

I have Tridents. And a Carnage. And x2 Zeus. No Trebs.
What is your question. Should you swap out the Zeus (600m) for the Tridents (600m) or you are tossing up between Trebs (1100m) vs a 600m option?
My personal preference is that a mid-range assault bot to a camper. I can use my Zeus Carny on any map (even Dead City). You'll be limited with Trebs on various maps.
If you need or want a 1100 ranger then you'll get the Trebs. But note shields block them!
If it's a toss up between Tridents and Z's - it's horses for courses and personal preference. Tridents are great but have a 10 second load time vs Zeus. So to answer Your question do you want faster load time vs slash damage. Tridents also have a slight delay when you pull the trigger to firing - can catch you off at the start.
My personal preference is Zeus :-)

Strayed would say trident > zeus > treb.
Next question: possessives or plurals?

I'll be keeping my Zeus Carnage. Was wondering if should add a either a Carnage Trident/Treb or a Natasha Trident/Treb bot to my hanger.. I see that having a long range bot is handy for 3 maps .. Yama, Springfield,& Canyon.. Natasha has the extra 2 light weapons but is sooooo slow! Lol ..

On a carnage imho Zeus is the strongest option when played correctly, and it's the range configuration seen most often in Top. Tridents second, trebs last. On a Fury Tridents run Zeus close. Traditionally Tridents have been stronger, but since the Ancilot buff I've been using Zeus more. On a Butch Trebs rule. Heavy weapons are the most expensive to upgrade. Unless you're already maxed you want to pick a weapon that you plan to use long term. Currently I'd say that's Zeus (unless you plan to run a Butch).

I'd stick with the Carnage and look at optimizing the rest of your hanger for shorter ranges.

Petevb I have my Zeus Carnage, and I am keeping it, but was trying to decide if I should add a second long range bot to my hanger, and if so should I choose a 1100 meter Treb or a 600 meter Trident? I have a Natasha in inventory so I will mount the guns on it first, then figure if I should invest in a second Carnage for them or stick with Natasha..

Yah, that is why I was leaning towards it.. but Petevb says to range bots would hurt my game play..So guess I will be scrapping that idea..

Zeus has a 5s cool down, I would say that among all carnage builds, this is the worst to encounter, so likely the best one. Tridents come a close second, I don't feel that trebs are any good on it. The potent thing about using a mid range carnage is to utilise its shield and speed to do 600m flanks. This might force reds to divert their attention on you. But carnages are highly susceptible to treb furies and treb butches, you could possibly be taken out within 2 full charges if the player has high levels. I notice that a lot of treb users play below their levels, you will notice plenty of high level trebs playing in lower leagues. So you need to learn to keep out of their line of sight or move after they shot someone.
Assuming you have a 5 bot hangar, I think it's fine to run two mid range bots. You can even play slightly more aggressively in targeting red mid range bots. But you will find yourself having a harder time on tight maps like power plant or dead city.
Win rate is overrated, you want to play in a league around your levels where you can maximise your damage potential, not climb as high as you can and then get stuck fighting bots that are way over your levels.

Trebs should be in 3's (Fury) or 4's (Butch) and it's a waste of the speed of the Carnage to sit that far back and camp. Also, your glowing trebs and blue ancile bar means everyone else with trebs will put you on priority and wait for you to try and line up a shot. The Zeus will let you strike more often and ignore anciles but the tridents hit around corners and ignore armor. I would suggest you take a look around your current league and run whichever counters what you are fighting most. I have 2 Carnage a pair of Thunders, a pair of Zeus and a pair of tridents. I swap them around on the daily depending on what MM is throwing at me. Choose your style......

Depends a bit on how many britbots you see. If the number of shielded bots is limited, Zeus us more efficient. However, Tridents can damage robots using cover as you only need to detonate it within 30m of the target. Both are very good weapons IMO.
Generally Tridents go better on a Fury, Zeus better on a Carnage. With Zeus you have to establish line of sight, so Carnage works better as its quickness allows it to reposition it on the battlefield. With Tridents you only need to hit close to the target, so you can use them on a slow robot. Fury is obviously the best for that, as it has 3 heavy hardpoints. But if you get an unshielded robot (or a shielded one from the side), two Zeus will do more damage than 3 Tridents.
Recently I've been toying with a Zeus Molot or Trident Molot Natasha. It's a nice alternative to the Fury, because it allows you to hit other midrangers from 700-800m while being protected yourself. You lose the Splash, but 2 Molots do roughly the same damage as a Trident.

I find it very useful to have the 2 Carnage and the 3 sets of weapons so I can go 1 midrange or 2 and optimize my damage type for what I am playing against. That's how I run solo. In clan squads I take it upon myself to adjust my hanger depending on what everyone else has. For example, I know my KOMMie Mighty Might will drop his trident fury on any map so I usually bring the Zeus and Thunder Carnage.

I have a Natasha in inventory so I will mount the guns on it first, then figure if I should invest in a second Carnage for them or stick with Natasha.. Stick with the natty and add aphids or gekkos. The aphid comes in handy when people rush you while the gekko provides extra long-ranged damage
