I don't see this as a nerf and I really really want a Tyr now. I think I'm gonna cancel my Halo build in the WS and start building a Tyr now. Not everything is math related and math alone doesn't prove a nerf or buff. But, if you want numbers, at Mk1 L12, the Tyr repairs 2820 per second in support mode. When it didn't have a cool down, the Tyr could switch immediately back to Assault mode and barely get any healing. Now, it's forced to stay in Support mode for 5 seconds so you get 14100 HP healed PLUS the 20k burst heal. To balance that, it's now stuck in Assault mode for 5 seconds but I'm thinking the scale is heavily on the buff spectrum. I think it absolutely is. Meanwhile I am looking forward to the changes. Maybe you can even use the health burst as a counterhealing tool like a Mender is actively using its ability while brawling or like using Advanced Repair - plus healing all team mates around you. I think that would be a strong buff.
Because of the additional crates rewards It should be a very good moment for building a Tyr in Workshop as this season has just started.

I think I'm definitely gonna build the Tyr. I have over 1k components, but I think I should finish my Halo first - which is about halfway done so maybe another couple of weeks. That way, I'll have 2 Halos lying around and while I upgrade those, I'll build the Tyr. Hopefully by Feb or so, I'll be able to run Corona/Halo Tyr. Or...I can just focus on the Tyr now and eventually run Corona/Rime since I have 3 Rimes at L7 already...ugh, decisions decisions. I'm planing on shelving my Imperial Hades and bumping my regular Hades to L9 and keeping that since it's able to equip the Legendary skin and get an extra 5%.

You know that the Imperial Hades gets the 5% legendary skin armor bonus as well since 5.5, right?

Did the Tyr buff include no more speed reduction in Assault Mode? The Tyr in the Skirmish today did not slow down at all when I played it.

Standard and Tofsla explained that it didn't make sense that your cool limited edition robot couldn't get a legendary paint job, so they made the 5% bonus apply to all limited edition bots (Imperial Hades, Eldritch Ares, Deathwing Ao Jun, Ancient Tyr, etc.) As for Tyr not slowing down anymore in Assault Mode, based on other threads, this seems to be a temporary glitch. 5.6 has not dropped yet on FBGR/Steam, so I haven't gotten to take my own Tyr out to test it yet.

Thanks! I just checked the numbers and yup, the Imperial Hades has almost as much HP at L9 as a regular L10 Hades. This means I'll likely keep both my Hades and retire my Lancelot when I get the Tyr.
Too bad about the glitch though. I wouldn't mind if the Tyr didn't have a speed reduction in Assault mode. Still 46kph is nothing to sneeze at and is about the same as my Ghost Lancelot's permanent speed.
