As a post to vent my frustration, this is largely rhetorical, rather than a genuine question - but any useful advice would be appreciated.
Played 6, lost 6.
Top damage dealer in 3, 2nd in 2 and fourth in 1. Also got my fair share of beacons - top capper in 2, joint second in 2 and joint 3rd in 2.
I think I am pulling my weight so, as the title says, what else can I do?
Is there anything more frustrating in this game than when the MM seems to insist on putting you on a losing run (other than getting double sniped mid-air by a trebuchet Butch before you've even fired a shot!?)

Been there with the losses... especially during the 5 match battles to move . up a tier. First time I broke into Silver I, my win rate of 68% seemed to put me at a disadvantage. Can't prove it had anything to do with it really, but at a 52% win rate I had an easier time getting to and staying in Silver I. The MM hates winners I guess.

yeah...been there... up to 62% about a week ago ... just bouncing back from 44% (on 46%!)... been on as really painful losing streak ...most recent loss was where we had a 0 score player & one with 9k ... I was top scorer with >450k (next best was 260k) ... the reds had 4 players over 300k it sucks ... I am hoping it will contribute to making me a better player

MM somehow knows how to put you into a "sure lose" team, coz at 1 point or another you will get into a losing streak no matter what you do.
I'm getting immune to it.

UPDATE:
Losing streak finally ended after 9 consecutive losses. Can anyone beat that (who wasn't intentionally tanking)?

yay I'm on 52% now ... oh the dizzy heights of success I have decided if I get the losing streak feeling I am going to throw in some different bot/weapon combos to give them a test drive.. replaced my RDB with a molot griff ... surprisingly effective for suppression ...

Squad up with near or same level peeps. Preferably with comms. I am in clan but generally play on my own because it is so hard to get a team together at the same level. I find in clan matches I'm either underpowered against the enemy because my clan-mates are stronger than me, or the fight is ok for me, but my clan-mates are out-gunned. Comms probably helps a lot, but the other people in my office might find it a bit odd when I start screaming for someone to flank the Lance hammering me with his thunder orks... !

Stop playing at work. Posting at the forums at work is fine. My patients can wait. That's why they are called "patients"
