Thank you for you encouraging and especially the good advice against Aphids (note:perpendicular movement) git gud is the motto now. And for...ehm..."further research" I just bought my third Aphid...  @ stygianumbra: do you think the rhinos shield and the lancelots shield have different angles? Will try that out (not charging into the salvo) - only I dont have a rhino yet. Hopefully I can transfer that knowledge towards my lancelot somehow  The rhino shield sticks up higher which is the important part I think, I don't have a lance but I have killed many. I try not to fire at a lances front with aphids unless I can get them to arc up high, many times fired directly towards a lance I get little or no damage much like a rhino. The lance is more sensitive to the height of the arc which makes running towards your attacker or being at a lower level even worse of an idea. The lance shield doesn't cover the frontal arc as well I believe, meaning if forced I will fire the aphid at the edges of the targeting ability to curve at least some of the missiles into its side. The rhino is a very unique bot to use, it's difficult to pilot and it's not as easy as the good players make it look. It's lost some of it's appeal with the heavy bot speed increase as well. If you pick one up make sure to watch some vids or get some good advice on how to use it as many get boxed by disillusioned players who thought it was a cure-all. |

I think what might help if they reduced the range to 300m or less No need to nerf it at all. It is an Au weapon and should be slightly better than the Ag alternatives. It's not OP now and gives lights and mediums a strong counter to the many powerful heavies. DUCKING AUTOCORRECT!!! |

Better all newbees should go away so experience player like you who past the gepard stage can only play . what nonsense. Whats nonsense is that you want me to shed a tear for you and your kind. With10mil loads from GooglePlay, and who knows on iOS, there are many that will play, not just me. If I can handle Geps, so can many players. Dont want to, dont want to try, dont want to learn, then leave. It is of no concern to me, that some people will leave. There will always be someone to replace you, me, all of us. dumbhead I am talking about new players not experience players ... we are talking about game not life that some one replaces other .. at least clear your thoughts before talking .. in game once an account is made it is made only dev can clear that account .. no one replaces any other account check your facts dumbo .. and what your problem if some one says geps with mags are not placed in proper tier ?? at least devs should know what combination is OP and place them properly. |

Feel free to close the thread, looks my initial letting steam-off turned into a discussion that could easily go down the toxic road.
Really dont want that, for I kinda like the community here for beeing helpful and kind (except 1 or 2 "Iamsocools"-but even they are funny).
P.S: I received a message from Pix. Looks like major MM changes will come early 2017. Geps and Aphids and Plasma are some things on their list (respectively the possible combinations and their tiering)

(many of us don't know every corner of every map) There are plenty of spots where aphids doing 0 damage.
Pixonic devs brought a solution against Rhinos and Lancelots wave. Even Gepards with 3 Aphids can make some noise and show some power. But still 6 Rhinos straight rush is effective on some maps if proteam using them.

0/10 sentence structure but I'm so high on coffee I get exactly what you're saying; the problem with that listed scenario is the loose overlap between chubbies and geps. Sure, aphid geps damage lances around the shield, but are you really going to see a lance in gep land or a gep in chubland?

(lol) yes, i see gepards/aphids in the land of lancelots and rhinos - especially on Powerplant, maybe Deadcity, Canyon and Yamantau (Ice). I can find some screenshots of top-tier guys using them. When you simply can't catch a bot, but he is doing 45k every 10 seconds can be very dangerous. |

I have seen a surprising number of low level Sir Chubalots in High Silver, Geps end up there too, and yes, they meet. It's not overly common though. More likely to see Galahads and Gareths. And the usual assortment of crazy set up Franken-Rhinos and friends. |
