In addition to testing whatever the "new" things are, I've been wanting to use the test server to try out bots and weapon loads to see what works well and doesn't work well in typical battles. But I'm finding it almost impossible to do that because of ditchers. It's impossible to get a feel for how a bot is performing when the battle is 5 reds vs 3 blues 1 minute into the match. What is the possible incentive to ditch from a test server battle?

People do not take test server battles seriously.

It's impossible to evaluate stuff on the test server, really. Most players will run setups that they wouldn't use normally.

Same here. You see people running hangers specifically designed to kill the people running the prototypes. Seems like if you're on the test server, the point is to test the new stuff... if you don't have any in your hanger what are you doing there? Anyway... can somebody tell me what the hell they are trying to do with the dash? When they first put it out there is was crazy fast... which was awesome. A survivable bot with enough speed to run down campers? Gimmie, gimmie! Now, they made the dash ability all but worthless with that 20 second cooldown. Then they took away the ancile and replaced it with an ineffective physical shield. What? They went from a nimble beacon-capper to a Lancelot wannabe. And the new prototype weapon? A heavy Molot? Do we really need ANOTHER weapon people will camp with? I'm starting to think Pix is filled with people suffering from ADHD. Is it just me?
