SO, got moved to rants because of an angry tone and talk of MM. apparently evaluating MM in General discussion is a no no...
It wasn't moved due to MM talk, but because it had devolved from a discussion to a rant. Talking about something in an "angry tone" IS a rant. Nothing wrong with it, but let's not kid ourselves.
and I think you might be using the wrong terminology. We've had this discussion before and though it's not definitive, we have tried to define missiles here as the guided kind (Hydra, Spiral, Aphid).
Unguided self-propelled projectiles would be (Orkans/Pinatas, CRV/Tumbalas, Tridents)
Finally, everyone has a choice of how to play the game, no matter how lame and agreeable. That being said, I have seen matches where the team with 4 Furies at the start LOST and lost BADLY. There are always ways to defeat various setups, and how to strategise, so perhaps instead of lamenting and insisting that you are not doing anything wrong, why not asking folks here how they deal with it?
I've play against Masters and Champions and I know there is always a fury lurking. Galahads use cover and range awareness to avoid trident and get close. I've killed many TT Furies with my plasma Galahad. Griffins time their jumps and keep and eye on when Tridents were fired to make their moves (last one same for Galahads too). Stay more than 600m, move from cover to cover etc.... it works
Post ur hangar, post a video of you playing, look at some of the pros on youtube... etc.... THAT's constructive, instead of a constant report which just becomes a rant and lament.
Most expert, master and champion league players usually only run ONE splash mid-range at the max. If your arguement held true, everyone would just have 5 splash and it would be the meta, but it's not.
