MM and totally lopsided matches. Plasma vs missles

Rant is being mad about it bro, I'm not mad. I'm offering a play by play of my last 3 matches and critiquing the system that is mismatched imo.

Managed a +3 on this last map. Again missles rule the day. If you have plasma tough noogies. You cant close distance I guess I'm going all griffins and dumping every thing else that 'I've built in the last 6mos since it's all obsolete.

I guess that's what pix wants, to churn through mechs and weps because that makes most players spend real money catching up when they see how mismatched they are.

It's all about the money, be prepared to pay up in real $$ to buy your way back. That's why the league system is in you face now. You can see -20 and that makes you want to claw those points back. WHen your 10/10 hangar is obsolete due "balancing" (LOL) then you better buy the new balance with real $$ so you can play decently again.

Just my 2 cents on why league system is now in your face.

You don't have to agree, you can call my feedback whatever you want. This is just one players experience.

Again, f that if you say play better or use more strategy, I'm using all of it. THere's just no defense againt missles at this time.

The real question I Have at this point is why is mm comparing and matching heavy missle hangars against plasma hangars? Why did the team i was just on have pattons and Gerard's in Diamond 1? They were plasma as well. The other team mowed them down in seconds with missles....

I picked up a -4. This game started with my plasmahad, 4 missle griffs on my team. Other team, much the same, all griffs. Then they broke out the ttfurys, and ancelots, and more missle'd up griffs and mowed my team down. They finished up with a number of spider bots with, you guessed it, more missles. Hydras reigning everywhere.

Luckily I only got -4.

This is my worst losing streak ever. Shocker

Just managed a + 13 on canyon, not sure how. I lost my last mech to a rhino with aphids/hydras. I was out a while before match ended.

Haunter, what are you talking about? Stay back 350 and wreck? I'm not talking okrans here. It's the rest of the missles. 500m/50m splash damage. I had my plasmahad taken out in one shot by a leaping griffin missle boat. One shot. My plasmahad is lvl 9. My Lancelot is lvl 9, regularly gets 2 shotted by missle boats. I'm leveling an ancile so nuff said. I have a token griff, i hate using him. I was using a rhino with mags/okrans. That was a total waste as he would get creamed by missles when trying to close in to use em.

Yeah, what is the distance of those hydras? That's why my half health Galahad died. Cannot close distance because missles kill me before i can get in firing range. I think that's been my point the entire time. Thanks though.

Let's be fair, we're not exactly playing a 1-on-1 game here. 

Never said I was an expert, it's just that it's difficult to die to that rhino setup. And I see, so your are complaining about mid range, not necessarily knife rockets. Use cover to get close. As for 'I am not contributing, I'll go back to my first post. How is it the MM's fault that people want to use rockets and mid-range?

I never said it was your fault, or anyone else's. People will naturally use whatever gives them an advantage. In this case mid/long range wins over plasmas/short range.

I wish i could have closed the difference. I was toward the outter beacon on canyon, running to assist a squad mate, who died before i got there. I killed what was left of the griff, then that rhino spawned nearby, my shield was nearly gone and I was down to 1600 health. There wasn't much i could do.

SO, got moved to rants because of an angry tone and talk of MM. apparently evaluating MM in General discussion is a no no...
