Every other robot game that's only 5 vs. 5, 6 vs. 6, or even 12 vs. 12 (Mechwarrior Online) is just an arena
50 vs. 50 with respawns on a huge map. That is not an arena. That is war.
Too bad they didn't open this outside of Japan.
This game, introduced in 2012, teaches you how to artistically employ pilots in the game. Instead of just being modules with portraits, they speak quotes randomly or based on situations. Voice actors are used with speech quotes of the pilots, often and as much as possible, the original voice actors from the anime series.

Its PC only, and not just that, but its also Japan only.
Its always nice to see what is happening on the other side even if you can't play it (without a PC and a VPN).
The amount and quality of games that are East only and can't be availed in the West by one reason or another (Japan only, China only, Korea only or combinations of the three or plus Southeast Asia) are mind boggling.
MSGO however is old and dated back in 2012. There is going to be sacrifices to be made to fit 50 vs 50 in one arena at that time, though nowadays, 100 players in a Battle Royale is nothing, not even on mobile.
The actions and animations on Gundam Battle Operations 2 (GBO1 was launched years ago and is now superceded by a new generation) is much more fluid, and this is the game that will head to the West this year. On a PS4.
Both games are for the Gundam hard core who thinks only the Gundam UC timeline and universe is the one true Gundam series. No alternative universes and such, so don't expect Gundam Wing or Gundam 00 or Gundam Barbados on these.
