I started playing this on my galaxy s7 & my note edge. I am also playing it on my iPad air. I have to say that the graphics on my iPad are better looking. I'm thinking of getting an android tablet. I read up on some android tablets with better graphics. The Nividia tablet seems to be a good one. But it's been out since 2014. So I'm wondering if something better is out there I should look at?
Also, has anyone tried a Bluetooth controller or anything like that? Or do they not work with this game?
.......later today now.. . I have searched this forum with mixed results. So by comparing some of the tablets & specs. The choice seems to be the nivida shield with nivida k1 or a Google pixel C with the nivida x1 chip. The x1 chip seems to outperform that k1. But the price difference between the two is about $300. That's a big gap. So it really leaves me to wonder. I doubt the war robots currently would look any better on a x1 vs the k1. . Also I noticed the nivida shield tv has the x1 chip. But I'm not looking to tie up a tv for the game & loose my portability factor of a tablet.

Well after too much thinking..I decided on the Google Pixel C with the tegra X1. I figured the nividia shield K1 is getting a bit dated (2014) & might be out dated in a couple more years. If I spend the extra cash now for the tegra x1 chip I may be OK for a couple more years vs the k1 chip.

The difference I discovered with various Android tablet is that some enable shadowing, and some don't. Its not an option, the game simply sets it according to the GPU. Its double sided. With shadowing, you get better graphics quality but you lose frame rate. Without shadowing, it doesn't look as nice, but things seem to run smoother. I started playing War Robots on the Shield Tablet, Nexus 9 and Pixel C. I have retired two of these devices, and my Pixel C developed unrelated problems. I am playing War Robots now on the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 (the Tab S3 is coming but it will be costly) and the Asus Zenpad 3s 10which has a 64 bit Mediatek chip. Both happy with them. I also found it works well on the late 2016 model of the Samsung Tab A, the 10" model with the elongated aspect ratio, SM-T580. I have also found War Robots playable and compatible with a number of Chromebooks that has touch screens and Android app compatibility that are in development. These include: Acer R11, educational version C738T Acer R13 - This is an aluminum clad flip Chromebook with a 2.1Ghz Mediatek processor with 64 bit cores. Asus C302CA - Another mid to high end Chromebook, with an Intel M core processor. Samsung Chromebook Plus - Probably the best in the group due to the screen aspect ratio, simply the best quality of the screen. The chip is an ARM chip branded by Google as the OP1, which really is the Rockchip 3399, an octacore chip with 64 bit ARM. I have not tested this, but likely it will run: Asus Chromebook Flip This model has yet to appear in the market but may potentially run: Samsung Chromebook Pro - Identical to the Chromebook Plus, but trades ARM chip to an Intel M core. Of these models, the Samsung Chromebook Pro, the Asus C302CA and the Acer R11 are all running on Intel processors. Asus Zenpad 3s 10

Thanks for the info and input. I got my pixel c today and on it now. I like the no bloatware on it. The game plays really nice too. What happened to your pixel c? Maybe something I need to watch out for?

The screen on my Pixel C stopped responding although the rest of the tablet still worked.
But it has been a pretty good device for games but also for other things as well, with the keyboard extension its like a pseudo laptop.
I am sometimes tempted to get a new Pixel C, but only at a massive discount. At the current prices I may as well wait for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 despite the Samsung bloatware.

Im having 2nd thoughts now on the galaxy tab s3 vs the pixel C. Pixel C is missing some refinements I have grown used to.

So does the new Galaxy tab s3 have the same Snapdragon 820 as my S7 edge? If so, then I'll just keep my pixel c. I ran 3d mark & sling shot extreme test on both. The pixel did way better.

I have not tried it with a game pad. If it does, this can open running War Robots potentially even on bigger screens and more powerful Intel processors. As you see it, I am using the touchscreen. The Samsung Chromebook Plus runs on what Google brands as the OP1 processor, meaning an ARM processor optimized for ChromeOS. Basically, its rebranded Rockchip 3399. This page shows the Rockchip running at 1.5GHz. The one on the Chromebook runs at 2 GHz. www.cnx-software.com/2016/09/28/rockchip-rk3399-benchmarks-appear-on-geekbench/Its a 6 core chip with two A72 cores and 4 A53, with a MALI GPU. The screen is a 2400 x 1600. This is better than the screens of every tablet I have seen and is also the best screen I have ever seen on a notebook. But this is far from the most powerful processor I have run War Robots with using a Chromebook. I have also run War Robots on the Acer R13 Chromebook which has a 2.1Ghz Mediatek MTK8173C processor (really big screen at 13.3"). But most importantly on an Asus C302CA. Which is powered by an Intel M3 processor. This is a review of the Asus. www.laptopmag.com/reviews/laptops/asus-chromebook-flip-c302caThe access to the Google Play Store is behind the Beta channel, so ChromeOS has to be set from the Stable to the Beta channel. The Samsung Chromebook Plus is the first Chromebook to have Google Play in the stable channel but others are still being worked on. This coming April, the Samsung Chromebook Pro will be released with an Intel M3 processor.

An ok...I see now your not using an android emulator on laptop. My mistake. I have my Alienware laptop running MeMu in full screen mode. I can use my Xbox 360 with it and some joystick mapping. It's pretty neat. Today I tried plugging my xbox360 into my pixel c. It works with war robots on all the movement. I just can't fire my weapons. So support for the controller is lacking. I emailed a request for added controller support.
