I picked the last one hahahahaha. I dont fear them any more than HB's, Pursuers, Merc's and the like. They all can wreck an Ares day.
I only run one Ares and dont really care much for it anyway so bring it on and get me to a fun bot!

Lol, as an Ares pilot, I hope teammates will help me.
But I voted for the last one because as a Strider commander most of the engagements I have with Ares they aren’t aware of me until they are almost dead or dead. I am not saying that cuz I think highly of myself; saying it because it is true. It seems a lot of Ares commanders are over confident or they underestimate Strider or really the main one is that it seems many people in Champions League these days don’t have the same situational awareness as Champions League old timers

I look at 「dookie」 and hope it works when I need it. Striders...terrifying little chicken legged buggers. Should be nerfed so that my Ares no longer has to act like a princess. Pretty, precious little princess.

No matter what you use to counter Ares, or any bot for that matter, they should not know you are targeting them until after you are well into your attack. And you are correct in saying most Ares pilots are way overconfident.

I run a STRIDER....and I can kill/hurt an ARES....
But I don't rely on it to do so and I don't think I scare too many of them with it.... it's mostly situational. If I have capped 2 beacons without getting damaged too bad, I will hunt reds in my area. If one is an ARES....GAME ON.
I'll play peek-a-boo with them with my QUIZ and HAECHI...if they're stupid...sorry bout their luck...
Now...my MERC....oh boy... gimme a little cover and let me get within 200m...
ARES hate my FALCON...in most cases, I can take their worst and dish it back when their purple fades.
Let me point out that this is one on one...add any kind of a wingman with any common sense and a solo attack is a total waste of time.

Still no ares here, but my strider w exo gust triggers their Last Stand in short order. Occasionally, I find that rare Ares w no Last Stand and buh-bye now. Kind of like this...  So, if you are an ares pilot and your Last Stand isn’t maxed, when you see me coming, your reaction should be something like this...  |

I run Ares and strider. I find most Ares pilots far too confident and they are easy to take out. Just have at least three dashes ready. Two to dash in from a distance, one to scurry after Last Stand is activated. Then come back in to finish them off.
I really don't fear striders when in Ares. Halo corona locks them down and makes a joke out of them unless they totally blind side me.
