Finally made it to Champion with L7 weapons only!

and mostly level 9 bots.

It took me slightly less than 3 months to climb from Master III to Champ, and I only play 2-3 games a day, maybe a bit more during events.
Changes from M1 to Champ: replaced the Leadhose Inky by the Avenger T-Fal.
As you can see I'm still upgrading the T-Fal and not sure if Avenger is the best. may try Ember later when I have a Glory but that would wait until The T-Fal is at L9.
I think the biggest help to made it to Champ is the Tyr that I've won from Devstream. Healing does count towards the final score and really helps for holding league point when losing a game.
I might be doing something like foxypotato showing off my hanger (with level showing) in the signature
