meched them out, beacon was gaining, nobody respawned, timer ran for god knows how long and we lost I dealt the most damage (863k) got 7 cups, and upgraded to diamond 1 still infuriating

Meching out is a strategic advantage, because you cannot shoot them anymore Seriously though, that is frustrating. I wonder how many of the reds were even still watching in spectator mode to see the win go down. EDIT: The only suggestion I would throw out there is sometimes in those close games, grabbing a 4th beacon if its nearby is the better move than killing the final 1-2 guys. I notice when my team smells blood and we are meching the reds, guys often ignore enemy beacons and just rush the enemy spawn. There are 5 of you on the field here - someone should have been able to flip a lightswitch blue, although Springfield is tough to reach those remote lights.
