The engineer in me is asking, where is this bot getting the necessary power to sustain the shields for a long time, then fire those freak weapons with the shield still up and maintain such highspeed mobility.... (maybe it's built by aliens.. wait, that's the invader...but the invader makes sense...) Well, isn't it clear when you look at Ares? Those massive "arms" (note how wide the bot is), which must have paper-thin armor (just look at the bot HP). They house two of the most advanced reactors available to mankind. Also, the shield itself doesn't use up much energy at all, because it is based on absorbing the incoming kinetic and EM energy. If nobody is shooting at it, it uses only about quadruple the energy of your standard Ancile in charging mode, which the dual state-of-the-art reactors can easily supply. ...or make up your own rationalization.

Another Idea. Make the absorber shield directional and proportional to the intended job of the bot. example, make the Ares shield cover only the forward 120 degree arc. or give it the same shield duration, cooldown and built-in weapon firing duration of Nemesis. The engineer in me is asking, where is this bot getting the necessary power to sustain the shields for a long time, then fire those freak weapons with the shield still up and maintain such highspeed mobility.... (maybe it's built by aliens.. wait, that's the invader...but the invader makes sense...) I'd much rather prefer to have its shield be a snug fit to its body like how Halo's Spartan shields are like so it can't share the protection unless their teammate is right behind them. As tor the energy, according to the YouTube channel description, nuclear energy is completely safe in their world somehow, so it's not crazy to think they'd have miniaturized nuclear reactors. I'm pretty sure those passive module reactors are the size of a car engine or an entire car at most.

I would much rather the add a new league with no special awards to participate and move everyone with an Ares and Au jin into it so they could slaughter each other endlessly and let the rest of us try to enjoy Ares Robot...I mean War robots.

Talk about a whiny userbase. What they should do, is create a specific ability or weapon that turns them off. Nobody has PC to begin with (well, F2P players).
I also like the idea of nerfing mobility during absorber. That would throw so many people's muscle memory off.

Looking at the Ares's design, it seems that the 2 advanced reactors should be located at both sides of that wing like torso.... PIX!!! give us modular aiming please! (OMG, sniper's will get wet over this)
