This YouTuber is an awesome player. He's very smooth, very deliberate and making the right moves. The Firestarter's mechanic --- that ball of death that dashes and smashes --- isn't something you would want to see in War Robots.

These guys can make SMC the basis of a pure or mech only game if they had wanted to. The game manages to recreate the classic anime mecha tropes that they can make this a Gundam simulator and it can be a better Gundam simulator than some Gundam games.
The clean UI can pack so much functionality --- the robot can jump or dash, activate shields, activate back weapon, reload, and heal right in the that menu without need for an huge button on the right.

It’s a fun game. Glad they added America server. I got sick of bad lag on Asia one for me. Prior to unlocking other regions in game ability a few weeks ago.

Trailer for the EX-SS skin of Arthur. You have to roll a gacha for it however, but remember its only a cool skin. It doesn't add anything to the Arthur.

Is there a forum for this game? I’ve been getting into it too but have lots of questions.
I found I have to turn the control sensitivity up because shooting any gun the aim drifts upwards and at default sensitivity I can’t pull down enough to compensate and keep aim on target. Though I’ve seen some players apparently hit every shot, like they don’t have aim drift. I like that it’s broken down into stages, scavenging, then mech fighting, then exclusion zone shrinking. But I wish they’d shorten the initial scavenging stage to 2 or 3 minutes, I get bored in that part and just want to get to the mechs. Also the exclusion zone can be annoying, it shrinks too fast and often I have to run and run and run doing nothing but staying out of the zone. Wish they would indicate roughly where it’s going to shrink to so I can make my way there initially.
The hangar UI is over complicated and I don’t know how to acquire or buy anything. I collect widgets or tokens or things here and there but don’t know what to use them for. I have 5 bots unlocked and like learning how to fight with each one but don’t see any way to unlock the next 4 or apply skins or anything really. I just hit ‘to battle’ and plop around.
A forum or instruction manual would be great. For now it’s enough to learn each bots strategy and I love being in a building and seeing mechs fight outside the window. Very eerie and reminds me of a dream I had as a kid.

Aim drift exists as part of the game or of any shooter. Its part of balancing weapons.
I don't know how some players are so accurate. There are many accusations of cheating in Fortnite and PUBG, and its hard for me to say if its cheating or skill.
Some players are playing the game using Bluestacks on a PC. That enables keyboard and mouse controls, with a large screen, over players that are using a smartphone or tablet only. This is common enough on PUBG and Fortnite mobile, and we also have this phenomenon even in War Robots. Our dear Manni uses Bluestacks, he got invited by Pixo to their HQ for a Youtuber vs Devs match and turns out he cannot use or does not know how to use a tablet. So he ended up commentating for the event. There are likely players using Bluestacks on SMC, some of the YouTubers appear to show this.
As for the storm curtain, before it contracts, the game will clue you a directional path to go where you should be. The air drops are also a clue.
You should be earning some currency that will allow you to roll ten tickets. If you get a skin for one of the other four mechs, that mech will automatically open for you, with both default and earned skin. Or you can just buy them directly. Doesn't cost much. Not sure how the other four mechs are any stronger as they are all balanced. Arthur and Skylark seems to be the most popular.
Some of the things in SMC gives me strange ideas if ever to put these weapons or abilities in War Robots.

I’m still enjoying this game. It’s replaced my #1 spot for a mobile game. I’d like to find more ppl (adults) to play squads with that know what to do though. The random squads are a real crap shoot.

Bought the premium battlepass and will grind for the hurricane skin. While cosmetics are of subjective value It feels so much nicer to spend on them than power/P2W

The Raven has been added to the game. Think of Hawkeye as a robot. Take note of its special mobility option where you can shoot at any ledge and reel itself to it.

To its credit, SMC now has over 1 million installs in Google Play. 1 million plus installs means its true number is somewhere between 1 to 5 million installs, and once it exceeds 5 million installs, the figure is updated to 5 million installs. This does not count iOS installs which can means a similar number, or installs within China that doesn't use Google Play.
If you see the controller placed like that in the screen of a mobile game, the dude is playing it on Blue Stacks via PC. Here is another video of the Raven.
