So I'll put it straight. The TLDR for this post is: nut-up or shut-up.
TLDR #2: It's just a game, have fun with it already.
To the people who rant about capping not getting trophies:
I see a tonne of these threads, and by a tonne I mean a holy-god-get-over-it-already tonne. So you play a match and spend your whole time capturing objectives. From the 10 billion posts I've seen about this I think it's a fair assumption to make that most of you genuinely believe you had top 3 contribution to the game. So correct me if I'm wrong, but the logic here is that the people who did the top 3 damage had less of a contribution than the person who mindlessly went around capturing objectives? This makes no sense as there's a simple principle here; doing damage simultaneously requires you to engage enemies and not get destroyed doing so. Being able to outplay well-built enemies takes a significant amount more skill than your backdoor-capture tactics. Sure, there are some top 3 players who didn't capture many objectives but that's part of the game. The skilled players are the ones who have 700k+ damage and multiple objectives captured, not the ones who mindlessly capture objectives and ignore all damage opportunities.
To the people who rant about well built enemies in [insert league here]:
I think this should be obvious, but I guess I have to say it. It's a game. You will win some games, and you will lose some games. If you have a sub 50% winrate there's a good chance that you're the problem. Maybe your griffin with 1 molot, 1 punisher, 1 spiral, and 1 pinata isn't the best. Maybe your tactic of running face first in open areas while being gunned down by 3 enemies isn't working either. As someone who has played (admittedly binged) this game for a short amount of time I genuinely don't understand what you're doing to have huge issues. I routinely end a game with between 500k and 1m damage (depending on round length), and I'm just starting out pretty much. Yes I face better built enemies than me on a fairly regular basis (I'm in Gold league now, still moving up) but I find it to be either a fun challenge or an "oh well we lost but I still tried" style attitude.
Lastly, to the "this game is pay to win" whiners:
As I just stated, I haven't played this game for a long time, but this comment makes no sense to me. This game is "pay to get things faster" or "pay to get a marginally better bot/item." At least half of this game is the ability to counterplay your enemy, not how much firepower you have. If you use cover and cooldowns to your advantage you may find that you start doing better. As I mentioned above, there are 1,000,000 things you can probably improve on, the biggest of which is how you move and engage the enemy. In a short amount of time I've pushed well into gold league and still am in the top 1-2 damage AND capture numbers every round. I've faced just about every bot and build under the sun, and I can't think of a single time where a single player who paid did better than anyone on our team on the sole basis of paid weapons/bots alone.
Final Thoughts:
This is a game. If you're really upset by losing a few games you probably should find something else to do.
