Hi pilots,
I'm looking to get a new robot and want something tanky. I've saved up enough for either Galahad or Fujin. Whenever I fight against Galahad they seem very tanky and hard to kill when they use their shield, even if 3 people are pounding on it it's HP barely moves.
Would you say Galahad is a better choice than Fujin?
Thanks.

Galahad. I have both, love the Fujin way more. Get the Galahad.

I have neither, but I know which I like to see on the enemy side... the Fujin.
For tankiness, go for the Galahad.

You dont even have to guess between those 2 choices, Galahad all the way.

Fujin is great on paper, but it gets eaten by Plasma or Trebs, and even without plasma, a pair of rocket carriers kill it pretty quick once they bring down its ancile. Galahad is basically immune to the first few plasma bots it faces as long as it points in the right direction, its faster, and many people like that at max speed it can run from rockets. *Note* This is a lot tougher to do in reality than it sounds when ppl type it on a forum. If you cannot run or you get too close to a DB, most DBs will eat up most Galahads in a salvo.

Most times, you will back pedal into an obstacle, run out of room, or recognize the rockets too late. Now excuse me, while I put on my armor, and prepare for the cascade of posts claiming they "do it all the time", "its easy", "dopey panda is a noob Gala driver", etc, etc

"dopey panda is a noob Gala driver" Happy to help! :-) Sorry, ou812gr8m8, I was backpedaling out of range at 50kph, and thus could not hear you.

So I don't even try. Other times the red either has non-splash weapons shooting at me, other enemies are shooting at me, I'm wondering if he has 1 splash or 4, I'm too close, or I'm just plain too slow to react to the splash.

I saw a Leo backpedal once my Orkan/Pinata Griff but I cant do that on Gala. THATS why you'll always see me annoying people about how I think Gala is a lil overestimated.

I'm glad you have the same opinion lol

I have 2 Galahads and I use them quite a bit. It's something you train yourself into and practice. Also you memorize the maps so you can back up without getting stuck and embarrassing yourself. Oh almost forgot - get the Galahad. It's very cool.

I have both. They are the same level. I never use Fuji. I always use Galahad.

OK, here's what you do. Go ahead and get yourself that Fujin. Make sure to outfit it with 3 Hydras. Now this is the important part. Take out your shiney new ATAT on a good open map like Springfield, and send off a few salvos at the red teams spawn point. You will soon have all the Galahads you could ever want. Unless you're running some high level Orks, the Galahads are going to eat the Fujins lunch almost every time.

I'll gladly give up some health for that added pep in the step. Still isn't easy with Gary, but a hell of a lot easier than with a Galahad.

You cannot go wrong with a Galahad. You can if you run face on into a double thunder Raijin.

The worst is when you have Plasma and you're just about to break the shield and your teammate comes and kills them with a death button.
