What do you do when you can't squad effectively. I'm in gold league I, close to Diamond league. My clan that I been in for 6months, the second highest player is in silver I, and rest are lower silver and bronze.
Leaving the clan is not an option, we are like a small family.
I have been surveying each match and I'm usually attracting diamond league player, high gold. So our squad matches is always lopsided whenever I have joined.
I didn't want to admit it but it's been like this for weeks.
I'm against the idea of tanking, would it be morally correct to just beacon run each map, play distraction with stalkers and Gareths so that I am able lower my elo. So when squading it's more balance.
Then that brings up and another question, if I lower my rating, then it's unfair for the future matches since we then will be in the advantage.
So what is the middle ground here? Should I just keep upgrading my main hangar, but use an alternative hangar until my clan catches up? Again leaving clan is not an option. What do you guys think?

Mismatched league ratings within each clan has been a problem since the new MM hit (and visible since league scores were made visible). I've seen it in my own clan matches. Ideally the matchmaker would use some weighted average of the squad rating but it doesn't. It uses the highest and the lower rated guys struggle or get carried. Not fun.
I too strongly dislike tanking (particularly ditching/idling) but I don't think wanting to be able to play fun, fair games with your clan mates is dubious moral ground like tanking to club for gold.
If playing fair games alongside your clan mates is your goal, why not play the beacon eating role (or just run an alternate hangar more in line with the league you want to be in) until you drift into line with your clan's next best or just one league above them. Contribute to your games but don't aim for top damage spots. Capture beacons, play mid or snipe instead of knifing, or just do the jobs the brawling enthusiasts don't want.
You might be a bit OP solo and need to run a lighter hangars during solo to avoid climbing back up but your clan squads as a whole will get reasonably fair fights, with your weaker clan mates balancing out your strength.
You could also give yourself a bit of a handicap by running unconventional builds for fun if you want to keep leveling your stuff. In silver, even odd builds can do ok if the gear is level 10-12.

Unfortunately there's no way to avoid this. The only options that are viable are tanking or finding a clan that matches you. If you're in for fun, feel free to sacrifice victories. Don't let no silly MM dictate how you want to play your game! Haha

If you really don't want to leave the clan, but want productive clan squads, your best options as I see it are:
1) Don't run squads with your mates until they level up. Keep a hangar unleveled from where its at today until they reach you. 2) Maybe the clan invests into some of the lower members, gives them gold to level up to you more quickly. 3) Create a low hangar, run it until you lose repeatedly. Please don't leave matches or walk into walls. Try your best, but you will likely finish at the bottom enough to drop down. Pix basically said this was okay to do in their 3/5/17 discussion with users. But once you get down to silver/bronze whatever, keep running the low gear. The jerk move is to then insert max gear into the lower leagues. Running league appropriate gear down there should be fine.
Cheers.

I thought I would lose more games but it's 4/5 games I won, im getting the Avg dmg down but winning on beacons. Should I stay away from beacon running and create a more balance lower hangar. I definitely dislike the idea of losing games or ditching, since I do hate it when people do that to me.

Sorry, but you're stuck between a rock and a hard place. The best, and most ethical, solution would be to "tank" down to their level, and run similar level equipment to theirs once you're there. If you've been together for six months, chances are they aren't going to actually catch up to you at any point if you're ever to take the game seriously. If you're just playing for fun then just play for fun. If you're wanting to take the game seriously, you have a couple options. Either leave the clan, or recruit some better players that you can squad with.
Another alternative is to contact someone in a better clan and see if they want to have you set up as a sister clan. Then you can squad with better members from that clan, and your clan can become the recruiting/training clan.

thisfob, the hangar you posted is still too strong to get to silver leagues in my opinion. Sure you added a few little Garys, but your weapons are still strong. I would leave Hydra Doc as he is, and then either re-arm the Garys with level 4/5 gear, or swap them out for some other more basic builds. Try a Magnum taran Ancile Golem and be a mini-ancilot. Maybe a quad Punisher Patton. Vitz with magnums and a Thunder. Aphid Jesse should become level 4/5 pinata/pin Jesse, or something like that. have fun with trying new builds. cheers.

thisfob any chance you can recruit some new members who can squad with you in Diamond? the only other choice is to tank your league score to fairly squad with your clan members....the key challenge is you will most likely have to keep tanking to stay low enough unless you really put in some low powered equipment because you probably have more skill as well. A distasteful option but I don't see any other choice as it is no fun for the rest of them to squad with you as they'll get beat quite a bit.

I think it is more ethical to lower your ratings and use a weaker hangar setup along with it, if you want to squad so much rather than straight outright tanking.
I still don't recommend this because, in the process of tanking, you ruin so many player's games.

You gotta lose games to get down to your clanmates level. If you get last in damage you will move down faster.
You clanmates are unable to move upwards so your only option is to move down or find a different clan or stop squadding.

Thanks everyone I appreciate it, I can't leave the clan since I have more fun with them than the actual game. They aren't that behind, majority are in silver I. So I think I will continue to level my main hangar on the side while using AG bots with default weapons lvl. It's my fault to begin with as I rush many upgrades in the past. I should just played normally. Hopefully Mm changes further to have more relative balance as a whole team and not just top guy in a squad

Yep, sucks huh.. I get the same here.
You try bring in or bring along newer guys to learn, and they get fed to a way too high mix of reds, then we all take a bath. What I learned isn't likely to make me play better, I learned it's dumb to even try and squad anymore. Why bother, heavy losses and point penalties are my reward?!?!
Maybe clans are on their way out, or squads, or both. At 20 points per loss the system is well rigged to vet this "issue" to self correct quickly.
I bet you get to that new league no matter what.. yaay.. it's not the MM, we have leagues now!!

I'm in the exact same situation except we are a little bit higher in the leagues. I'm the only one in Expert, 1-2 members in Diamond, and a good majority are in Gold. To complicate things I have friends in bigger clans that I want to run with that are in Master.
I think we have to wait until it resets at the end of the month. If you're like me, I have a difficult time pulling punches. I get too competitive sometimes and I can't keep up half@$$ing it for too long.
