Hi, I was curious about average position and gold payout. You know, finish always 1st when losing and 4th when winning. So I made notes over the last 55 random games, and here are my personal stats: - Win rate was at 57% (32 wins, 24 losses). Cup differential was very streaky, I would climb steadily by almost 100 points and then lose 100 points in 6 consecutive losses, along with 2 disconnects (there was a time where the server was laggy and I got thrown out of 2 games). 2 of the losses have no stats though as I left early after meching out.
- Gold output was 82, or 1.46 per game. That's slighly over the expected 14/12 ~ 1.2 gold per match on average.
- Average position in a win was 3.4. Average position in a loss was 2.9. I did however finish first in every third loss (7 of 22) while ranking #1 only in 5 of my 33 wins.
So you can conclude that there is a culture of not trying in losses, assuming that average rank should be equal in wins and losses. Or you could conclude that I lose whenever I have a weak team where I rank good in damage. Take your pick The results were less clear than expected. Best, F.

I found the cup movement very interesting. All stats here are from silver II, which is a 200 point bracket (1300-1499). I started below 1400 and came very close to promoting, before being thrown back to roughly 1400. My assumption is/was that MM does not only consider the league, but the point value, so if I'm near 1300 I will see more silver III players, while I saw almost exclusively silver I and low gold when I was close to 1500. Both win and damage rate dropped significanly at the end, currently 48%. (Yeah, 24 losses plus 2 disconnects, maybe it were 3 disconnects, I'm not sure, and I started those games with a winning streak. There were a few squad games mixed in, which I excluded from the statistics. I think they were basically 50% win.) Whenever I checked, in my losses were several players with 9/9 hangars or better. Additional information: All games were with 4 knife fighters and 1 support robot, with a bit of turnover - I always used a Plasmahad, a Taran Ancilot and an ADB Griff. Then I used another knife fighter (Thunder Carnage, another Plasmahad or another ADB Griff) and a midranger (Trident Fury or Zeus Carnage). I played all maps except Canyon. (I hate this Treb Fury playground.) Having recently acquired a third Trident I started to use that Fury more and more, and will focus on improving that one in the next week(s).
