After seeing more and more of them on the field I came to this conclusion and nothing can change my mind. These people are stupid POSs.

B. Standing in front of them until their shield drops.
Or
C. Charging at them while their ability is active.

I would say about 1/3 of Ares pilots are out there for the sole purpose of killing Ares. If they take out the rest of the reds in the process then we will just call them collateral damage .

If you can’t beat them - join them. Always takes me a bit of time to earn the new stuff but I get there - normally right ahead of nerf. I would say that some of the older “legacy” bots were at one time the OP bots. I can remember full squads of Lancelots kicking butt. Likewise Aphid armed Geppards! Look how the Haechi is not used as much and once was the king. So all we can do is go with the flow and deal with the changes.

I have to admit that I have 「female dog」ed about Greek bots...
The purple shield irritates me because of no counter...aside from time/timing.. I also greatly dislike LAST STAND for the same reason...but the pilots aren't the issue...
I prefer stupid POS pilots in them.
It's the smart 「illegitimate child」s that cause headaches.

I confess to only being peripherally familiar with Lovecraft... but the artwork now, I LOVE some good old skool, other-deminsional, elder, apocalypse art! The one you posted is primo!
And truly, that really is the only Ares I would run, and I would prolly go with Spydras or some other kooky build to compensate for the purple bubble. I don't like the bot. I would rather they had released an Eldritch version of a bot I actually like... but it is what it is.
Alas, I did not score one... so... will settle for my Darth Xylon Hades, instead.  |
