Appreciate knowing "where" you are dropping into a match? You always know which map, but which spawn point will it be? Being dropped out in the open, or in cover? Certainly would help determine which bot goes first.

Yes, some people join late just to have that and some other info, in advance.

Usually pan round, wait for the first blue to drop, and see where.

OP, remember you can rotate the camera before you deploy your first bot. Doing so lets you see where the allied arrows point to, and that's where your spawn is. If you don't like it, ditch.

sochilli (Saltesers) and runamok . Thank-you both for that delicious tid-bit of information. Never in all my time thought to try that. Tried it and it worked great. So I guess you can teach an old dog new tricks. One at least one a year. That could have been it.?

Not out to argue whether or not this is a great idea, just want to raise the point that if you do this it's very possible that your assessment will delay your start, which means me and every other capper in blue take off without you.
Don't know what everyone else see's but whenever I'm late, usually some server lag issue, I drop in last and watch my timer as the pack heads out.

whatttupG I wouldn't worry too much about panning for 3 out of 15 seconds. I haven't seen any lag in quite awhile. Maybe it's time to upgrade your hardware and internet.

runamok I understood, lot better than the way I used to do it. See where a blue arrow was and guess on maps like Springfield, Canyon and Power Plant. Dead City well you drop, doesn't matter too much there. And Schen I do prefer one side to the other, so that was always straight forward also without panning Worked really well on Canyon and Springfield since you all laid out this great info in your posts and I didn't even show up late or without a gift.

Spawning with a timer that the rest of the blues clearly aren't stuck with is neither a hardware or internet issue the user can affect. I do appreciate the ribbing though...
