I'm interested in hearing opinions on this bot. I don't see it run very much. I think that with a Zues and thunder or just alternating She's fire it would be Fun if Not a good Rob

Lacks firepower AND mobility. Not a good mix. Generally you do not need to stand in 1 position and defend it. Plenty of cover on most maps.

Do you think k that even with two Zues's with some decent placement that this bot wouldn't be worth. It does come with two sheilds making a good cover for a wise ally.

It does come with two sheilds making a good cover for a wise ally. dual zeus would be the most effective setup you could use with a raijin i suppose. But still you are trading firepower (fury) or mobility (carnage), it's pretty important to have one or the other in this game. Would not be hard at all to flank a zeus raijin.

The Raijin allows you to look in all directions when fortified

Surveying the battlefield from your armored trashcan. I bought and used a Raijin for a while. Was unimpressed with it's capabilities and switched back to Natasha. And that was before I played high enough to see tridents all the time. With all the medium range splash around, Raijin is even worse off. Not saying you can't drive one, just pointing out downsides.

There's a recent thread about rajin not fulfilling its role that has some insight on it, if u want more info.
Basically, rajin gets eaten up by rockets. The shields won't help it. And because it's often stationary, my grandma could get within 300m and unleash her orkans at it. Many people see it as a free damage lunch, and actually prioritize killing it to increase their damage # for the match.
All of that said, it sounds like u want to like it. Maybe drive it on the test server and see how it works for u before spending real wsp.

Zenit Raijins need a nerf

I agree. Look how frightening this is. Zenit Rajins are a menace... ...to their own team.

The only effective application that I've seen for a Raijin is to sit on the middle beacon in Canyon. There's always knife fighting going on there and when decked with two Thunders it shreds the lighter bots. Then again, this could further point out that this bot is extremely situational, so you are better off with a Carnage for the energy shield and mobility than a sitting duck for Orkans.

Slap a couple anciles on it, and with a good squad, you could use it purely defensively. Raijin is a pretty sub-optimal machine right now. The thread that Heavy Panda mentioned has a lot of information in it. Worth a read for an in-depth look at Raijin's issues.
