The War Robots app stopped opening for me today at about 6pm Pacific time. First there was an instance around 5:30pm it wouldn’t open so I quit and relaunch and the 3rd or 4th time it did open. I played a bit and quit but now I’m trying to open it again and it never opens.
Usually it takes about 5-7 seconds to show the hangar and I’ve left it trying to open for up to 2 minutes and it never opens.
Also the Game Center badge never appears. I’ve opened other games that use Game Center and they open fine, showing the badge and all, so it doesn’t seem to be a GC issue.
I’ve tried deleting War Robots, hard rebooting my iPad, then reinstalling War Robots and it still won’t open.
I’ve tried opening War Robots on my iPhone and it doesn’t open there either.
This is what I get, just stuck on the flickering War Robots logo and no GC badge appearing...
Anyone else having this issue?
I’m hoping this is one of those reverse jinx things where once I post about it it’ll clear up.

Ah, it’s opening now. Sort of. It takes a full 2 minutes to finally show the Game Center badge and go to my hangar.
This is really crappy though as it takes over 4 minutes to open War Robots when switching accounts. 2 minutes to get the GC badge and dialog to load other account then another 2 minutes for that account to load.
I wonder if this has something to do with ads. For months I’ve been tracking ad behavior and one of its peculiarities is after app launch 1 ad will play then the ad option disappears for 2 minutes before reappearing. Since 5.0 that hasn’t been happening but the 2 minute dead time is moved to app launch. There’s something funky going on in the first 2 minutes of this app.
Also, the app locking up when checking tasks is still happening and now each time that happens it’s a 2 minute wait to get back in. Oi this is such a hassle.
Still, anyone else having to wait 2 minutes to get to hangar? Hopefully this clears up soon.

Have you tried disconnecting from WiFi and using mobile data instead, just to rule out any IP and/or DNS / network issues?
I had a slightly different War Robots issue the other night that may or may not relate to your issue; anyway the issue would not fix while using my regular internet setup; even when I also tried loading it on my phone; so I disconnected from my home internet and connected to my mobile network instead - issue resolved. After that I realised it had to be an IP or similar network issue for my home connection, so I forced an IP change for my routers external IP, verified it had changed, tried War Robots again, problem solved.

If you are on iOS try going into settings->privacy->advertising->reset advertising identifier. It may be hanging bc of an authentication issue

Same happened to me earlier....I waited, finally opened up.
Maybe a server glitch around that time?

Thanks everyone. Around 8pm it started opening in normal time. If this happens again I’ll give those ideas a try. Thanks again and happy killing  |

It's happening to me too. Basically can't play the game between 2pm-11pm PST in USA. Sometimes it will load during that time but mostly it won't load period. Super frustrating. I've tried Everything. Nothing works. I think it's a server side issue. All my other games load just fine.

Its a feature fellas ..It the new lock down app module. Other players can press a button and you can't even play.
