Hey guys, due to the halloween event and a lot of shared playtime with my flatmates I (we) gathered a huge pile of Gold (and spent it  ). Inventory so far consists of (goldwise): 4x Orkan 2x EE Aphids 1x Galahad (at level 1 in storage, waiting for my gold hangar^^) (Plus one Gep and 2 Rogs- the latter thanks to the spinning wheel). We already piled up another 1500 gold, so... what to get next? Was thinking about a Zeus (really want to try that weapon, would try a Vit with 2x Aphids and the Zeus). Or maybe one or two Aphids first (def wanna try out Galahad with Aphids and Orkan, but 4 would allow to try a Aphid Taran Griff in addition)? Or do you think it would be best to start the 5k grind for a Lance (or Fury... somehow prefer the Chubby...) right now? Thanks for any advice, we're really having arguments bout this right now (my hipster flatmate wants the raven paintjob for a Griffin...-.-*) |

Whew... that's a tough choice list.
I mean, all of those are valid purchases.
I would, if it were me, and knowing what I use the most out of what you listed... get the Lance. It has won a semi-permanent place in my hanger, even at the 6/8 heavy level. Sure, I occasionally switch it out for a Boa when I want to go all mediums, but when it comes to street cleaning, I get the Lance out and get to sweeping.
Now, as to why I didn't choose the others:
Zeus - I really only use the Zeus in 3s on the Fury anymore, with the very occasional stint on a golum with 500m splash rockets, or if I am feeling really froggy, with a Spiral and a Hydra *ducks to avoid the 'maters.
Aphids - More Aphids... hmmm... not anything negative to say there, I do like the Patton quad aphid Nuke, but I just don't play it as much. I get a lot of use out of the Galahad with Aphids... and while I like them with the Orcs pretty well, I think I like them with the Taran better, but just for my play style. So 2 is enough for me... For you... *Shrugs*
Fury - Well... A good purchase, but if you don't have the weapons for it, and upgraded, then it won't do you any good any time soon.
Again, this is just based on what I ended up using the most, personally, out of the choices you gave in the OP. They are all worthy purchases.
Either way, good luck spending that hard farmed Au!

I would get the vampire for the Patton too if I didn't have better things to spend it on... and I may still convince myself... ***MUST RESIST... MUST... NOT... CLICK...PURCHASE!*** |

Thank you for all the suggestions (and I know the griffin paintjob was funny... by now the dude is even offering to donate a 10€ gamecard...^^). The QuadPatton is out of question- I refuse to play fotm builds, and also I dont like Pattons (would still need 2 more Aphids for my "shock and awe" Griffin build, but have other options for now) Zhøu™ (who always asks the important questions;): my first attempt in low gold will be: Galahad (2xaphids,Orkan), Carnage (2xThunders)- will have him in 2 days., 2 Griffins (1xRDB, 1xPlasma) 1 Boa (Thunder, Orkan) One Griffin will eventually be a Rhino one day, and the Boa will become a Lance (I figured that way I could continue using the already levelled weapons). So by now I crossed the Fury out of the list (have exactly one Trident and some level 3 kwk's... so too much work here atm). By now I think it would be best to start saving for the Chubbs right away. Totally like the design and I read so much praise about him... |

I am 100g away for my Fury, have 3x Tridents lined up. Currently running Plasma Rhino, Plasma Griff, DB Rhino, Orkan Thunder Lance, Carnage Tridents (Shifting to Fury) |

Forget about paintjob, please. It will disappear anyway -> money for nothing.
Depends on your style. Zeus is the most expensive weapon on update to max level.
Fury is nice bot and i really advice to have it if you want to play on all maps and be competitive as top player.

Yup, PIX annouced that the message in game about it disappearing is false, they changed it to permanent.
