I can't argue with that I myself use a missile Trident. Another one I don't see often. But it also works against bigger bots, and it's also a fun build If it were me, I'd replace it with either a Chronos -- which is definitely in the current meta -- or a Prometheus (more mobile than a Sentinel, more HP than a Sentinel, and probably the same amount of firepower. 1 Heavy + 2 Light is approximately as powerful as 2 Medium and 1 Light. However, I don't come across Prometheuses very much either) Again, if you have any doubts, the "Mech Battle First Community" page is as responsive, friendly and helpful as this War Robots forum is There's no reason not to spend them. In my humble opinion the chest system in this game is much more rewarding than in War Robots. You'll get platinum for sure from an Ultimate Chest, and a 5% change of getting a free Atlas So.... I had recently won a Prometheus in one of my battle progress rewards that I never bothered to check the specs on. At level three it has almost the same health as the level 5 Sentinel and is 4 kph faster. Instant swap, already seeing results. On your advice, I swapped about 1100 energy cells on ultimate trades and won a Juggernaut. Wondering if I should swap it in for the Berserker? Can't decide on that one. It's only level 2, my Berserker is level 5. Aww screw it, Juggernaut is going in, arming it with the lasers.

Yes, the Juggernaut has more HP. About one month ago the Berserker was clearly better because it could jump. Now they are about the same. However, the Atlas is better than both. When you can buy one or win one, I'd suggest the Atlas hands down. I'd suggest that you keep trading those energy cells whenever you get 125 of them. Maybe you've noticed your sudden jump in platinum If you notice that everyone in a battle has short, ordinary names like Carl, Adolf and Trevor, you're probably playing against only AI players. That is the perfect time to gather as many energy cells as you can

Y'all should register in the Mech Battle forum -- there's more activity here for this game than there is there, and that just ain't right. Sure, so just as I decide to spread the word about the forum, the Mech Battle site poop-canned the forum. They're directing visitors to their Facebook page now, which I loathe. Oh well. Yes, the Juggernaut has more HP. About one month ago the Berserker was clearly better because it could jump. Now they are about the same. However, the Atlas is better than both. That is the perfect time to gather as many energy cells as you can So I finally grinded enough platinum for an Atlas. This thing should be outlawed. Anyway, here's the hangar I'm messing with now. Even under-leveled as it is, I just won a Domination game with it.

Danny Linguini Awesome! I like your hanger. And you made it to level 17! I think you already know this, but at this point, you'll want to start finalizing what you want in your hanger so that you can focus on leveling it up. Although, just like in War Robots, it doesn't mean you're in a bad spot if you suddenly need to switch one of your robots. At first, it was with a heavy heart that I threw out my laser Atlas -- still a great bot -- for a missile Trident when I reached Level 28. But I still won lots of games Here's my hanger

I also have an Armageddon that I'm not sure what to do with, but I think it will stay on the back burner for now. I thought I'd try the blaster Berserker as an experiment, and I ended up liking it enough to stay with it. Now I just need to farm a crapload of lithium to get all this stuff upgraded. Impressive hangar -- what do you do when you get everything to 10?!

Once I get everything to level 10, I plan to buy paint jobs and start playing the game just for fun! Capture the flag ftw! Oh, and of course, I'll want to keep saving lithium for any future bots or weapons that may come out. I'll get to live like the War Robots players who have a room full of silver that they can't do anything with

I've just stopped using the Trident. I thought it was the fastest bot, bar none. But I got outrun by a Zephyr using a speed boost. Man, that speed boost is quite effective. So, considering my aggressive play style, I decided to buy a fast bot that can capture a flag and remain in one piece.

Prometheus seems to be one of the better all-purpose mechs. It can almost hold its own against the heavies, and can reach beacons without needing to pack a lunch for the trip. I also broke down and bought the last few hundred platinums I needed for a Winnebago Chronos. A lot of pilots seem to swear by them. Good speed, good health, and that dodge ability drives attackers crazy if you're good at using it. Yeah, yeah, I know I said I would stick with the hangar I had, but I needed more speed, cos my idiot AI teammates don't seem to know what a beacon is. I'm not about to give up my Berserker or Atlas, so the Juggernaut is on the shelf... for now. Any suggestions on a good Chronos loadout? I have a couple of Persuades on it now, since that seems to be the marginally preferred setup from the few I've been able to check out. Pardon me, but I need to get back to grinding now.

LOL at packing lunch for the trip! Yes, the Juggernaut was the best to switch for the Chronos. A Persuader Chronos is the one I'm seeing the most of as well. Dash in, shoot, dash out. My preferred setup is using MGs. Not a superior setup, but I like it because it's a great support unit, and because normally I can jump back far enough to use MGs to their potential. (Although one time a player using a laser Chronos purposefully didn't let me get back far enough, so he creamed me) This page, www.dreamslayer28.com/gaming/mech-battle-a-scene-guide, suggests Persuaders (like you're already using), Imperators and Decimators. Imperators and Decimators cost platinum, and I haven't seen them as often on Chronos. I'd say maybe it would be good to stick to your Persuader Chronos

From the ridiculous to the sublime -- if they're not spamming Atlases, now they're spamming homing missiles. Went from one game against a guy with five 「fluffernutter」ing Atlases to another against a guy with nothing but homing missiles on every mech. He'd just run over a hill and spam those mothers all game long. Couldn't get near him, because most maps have very few places to get overhead cover, and if you're under cover, you're neither killing enemies nor capping beacons. And those things have almost no reload time. Combine all that with useless AI teammates, it makes for a lot of losses. Time to fold it up for the night. Tomorrow might require pulling out the 3x Justice Valkyrie.

I've got nothing to say about that Fighting fire with fire (Justice Valkyrie) is perfect if they have just one homing missile bot, but 5 missile bots? ?? This guy will probably not last long in maps such as "tunnel," "plant" or "dome." Did you remember to set your spawning position from safe to random? Sometimes, but not always, "random" can put you right next to the enemy. As you probably know, once you get within 30 meters, he's toast Thankfully, the developers have made great balance changes -- so far. Since this is just a test, they'll probably revert the missiles back to their normal state if things get out of hand

Been playing for a few days now, pretty fun. Not quite War Robots, but with some QOL and graphics changes, it would put up a fight. I love my Polaris/Cossack.

Alright, I guess it's time to accept the realization that I just suck at this game. Now I'm getting thrashed by lower level players with weaker hangars. I can't play worth a crap against human players. Very frustrating.
So that's it -- rage-deleted. I'm cussing up this one as bad as War Robots (when I was still playing it), and that's just no fun. Back to Mech Wars.

Although I've made my choice, I'm still interested in seeing how it develops And I cooled off and reinstalled. Part of what set me off was the Atlas nerf -- shades of my entire experience with War Robots, where I grind and grind and grind for a high-level piece of gear only to have it nerfed within days of finally obtaining it. I shouldn't complain, because it's exactly what I was asking for -- before I got one. So the Atlas is now crap at brawling, so I loaded it up with homing missiles and a tomakngen. I just need to be cautious of where I bring it out (I'm notorious for trotting out the exact wrong mech at the exact wrong time). As long as it spawns away from traffic and I'm not on the tunnel map, it's pretty deadly. Berserker is on the shelf and I brought in Zephyr #2 with Blasters. Not sure how long that's gonna last though -- I may put in something more middle-of-the-road, and more durable. Maybe I'll give that Armageddon a try with prisms and imperator (already leveled on the Zerk). Some day I'll land on a hangar that I'll actually keep. Speaking of Mech Wars, they just dropped an update today. New map and a new humanoid mech -- that should be interesting. And they fixed the autorotate issue.

Although I've made my choice, I'm still interested in seeing how it develops I'm sorry to hear that too. I faced a lot of frustration after I reached level 20. I was getting my butt handed to me left and right. I thought I'd head down the same path as you Danny, but then I started adjusting my game play. A key thing I did was to start identifying places on each map where I wouldn't get shot in back by a spawning player/A.I. bot. These spots are all over the maps, not just the edges. More central ones will get you more kills. This changed my game completely. I'm at level 23 now, and I'm starting to take down players over level 30. Use cover, don't engage multiple targets, wait for the A.I bots to start fighting each other before engaging. Since your in a spot that a bot won't surprise you from behind, if you see another player enter the field, wait till that player engages A.I. bots or A.I. bots start shooting the player. This greatly increases your chances of beating them, even if they are more powerful than you, because they're taking fire from multiple sources. If they prioritize me, the A.I. will just hound them when they're reloading. If you ever open the game again try this tactic. I'm positive you'll see better results. P.S. You're I H8 Pigsonic! I've played against you and you were definitely challenging opponent!

But before that I got my clock cleaned by a couple of lower level players with mostly 5-6 hangars (mine is mostly 6's with a few 7's). I kind of got distracted trying to figure out what was up with the Atlas, but mostly just got badly outplayed. On the positive side, I think the homing missile Atlas is a keeper. I know I aggravated the piss out of at least one human player when I spammed at least three of his mechs with missiles. But it's a wasted slot in the tunnel map. Also discovered the Armageddon with blaster-type weapons -- it could be formidable once it's leveled.

Would be much needed and appreciated. I think Mech Battle has a lot of potential. I played it exclusively for the last week or so, no more War Robots. The only thing preventing me from saying that I'll never return to War Robots is the lack of human players, but that may change in time, hopefully. It really has everything that I want from a mech game, with a few minor balancing and UI issues. Feels very much like War Robots in pre-dash times (=6pack stuff), which I always thought to be much superior to the current War Robots. I might write a small review on my own, but I want to play a bit more to form a definate opinion.
