I've just started playing War Robots a couple weeks back, so thus is my first league play. Currently I'm at Silver I I. So when this league ends and the next begins, does everybody start back over at the beginning again? Or do we start where we left off at the end of the previous season?

My guess is that you won't start again "at the beginning", or continue where you left off. I expect you'll be re-tested at the start of each league season.

Supposedly it insinuates that you'll re qualify for each league, each season.
The unfortunate truth is no one knows yet.

I managed to play a couple of games when league was first released for android before it went offline. At the end of the "season" you get some bonus gold for finishing the season, then it went back to 5 game match for placement in the next league, and only receive further gold if you go up a league. If you stay the same or go lower, no Au starting bonus.

I suspect it happens every 30 something days. There's a countdown timer right? And when it happened, everybody will start fresh again, just like any other league/season in the sport world. |

Hm, I hadn't noticed that.
So say you were placed in Diamond and managed to go up to Expert, at the end of the season you'd have to be placed again and could very well wind up Diamond (or lower) again--based on one's performance during placement games?
There has to be other metrics used.

The 1st partial month (Feb), I received a 540 Au bonus that listed me in Gold I. Then I installed new update 2.61 whatever.
I recieved 100 Au bonus for staying in my tier Gold I.
I was then told I was in challenge rounds for new ranking.
Played my 5 battles, winning only 1.
I received 110Au bonus for placing in Diamond III, the next tier up.
I have this month gone down in points to bottom of Gold I (2100) and built back up to top 2297.
I surmise that:
*0 Au this month for not maintaining my new tier Diamond III.
*On right side of league screen I have note 'you have already received bonus for attaining next tier'.
Less likely I would receive 100 Au for maintaining Gold I tier play. If so, that would be great, but not much incentive for a month of play. That would do nothing to deter tankers etc.... with daily tasks earning 60-70 Au / day.
I am on constant upgrade cycle on 9.5/9.1 heavy hanger. Plenty of Ag still, so I am hoping to get 10/11 before I need worry about paying for premium.

There has to be other metrics used. I believe so. That's what "League" does in sport. The participants will fight to the best they can in the particular time/season. And when it has been decided (at the end of the season), everything will be restarted, and the cycle will go on. |
