Hey all, just joined this site. My son & I have been playing War Robots for about three months now, and I really like it (despite the issues). I've always loved mechs and this game makes it easy to indulge in that fantasy. I'm 45 and was a big Mechwarrior fan from way back, and also played paintball for 20 years, so War Robots scratches both of those itches in some ways (like a snapshot battle against another guy last night that gave me deja vu).
We're mostly F2P except for occasional micropurchases and playing at Level 29/30 in Diamond III on the Fire platform. I'll post my hangar (and bench) at some point...it's fun.

Welcome - 62 years young here. Some advice - do not wait till 40 to start hockey, 50 to mountain bike and 60 to start bouldering! But do put down War Robots from time to time and make sure you are enjoying life!

53 here as far as the game goes try not to lvl up to fast stay in dimond as long as you can

Also, the player pool for Amazon servers is limited... so pretty soon you will see lots of Champs as you continue to close in on the Expert league. Just a warning!

Worst thing that can happen (and does) is I get spanked in a few rounds and MM scooches me back (it's not tanking if you're trying, right?). |

50 y.o. psycho here...
So KEWL that you play the game with your son.... it's something the two of you can do for years (as long as the game is here) without a ton of schedule planning or gathering supplies/equipment and still compete together.
Just making informal memories and keeping the two of you in touch ...

My old boss was in his 80s (I was in my 30s still), and the coolest person to hang with in the office. He taught me a lot...about everything. It's all relative. |

I've got you all beat. I'm 69, can remember when my father brought home the original PONG, and have been playing video games since they were invented. I have been playing War Robots for a year and a half and really enjoy it.
