Yeah I play this a bit too...
I love that it has an offline mode against bots to practice with new loadouts.
It's a nice casual change of pace from games I get all "zoned in" to play. So far I like it.
The only real issue I have is that it takes a while to get a match as you level up. I think I am around 20 or 21 and it now takes 1:50 to get a match. It seems like the amount of time it takes to match goes up by :10 for every level. Seems to indicate that the higher you go the fewer the opponents the game has to choose from.
Also, I am not clear on whether or not they intersperse bots in with the live server, sometimes I feel that they might...
But other than the longer matching as you level, I can only say I enjoy it.
*My early experience with the game:
MG builds are getting me the best results, now. At first the SMG was my jam but the damage output on a MG that is positioned well is just brutal! I just switch to secondary weapon to get into position since having the MG active makes you slow, and then crouch for better aim near cover and line em up. You do have to try to get them into a funnel for that tactic to work... but man if you do it's great.
IMO, YMMV

What the heck... Downloading now. Looks like a good time compared to stressing about massive upgrades! Thanks for the recommendation iFail!

Leveled my AK or whatever default gun you get. Saw an enemy. Charged him firing wildly. Three seconds later a train blasted me off my feet, sending my corpse a few stations down the railroad. I checked the killfeed. [ Thomas [skull] Meatshield ] Haven't laughed that hard in a long time. ?fluffernutter?ing Thomas gets me every time someone else wanders into him. I knew immediately the game was a keeper just for the ragdoll shooting. Yeah the Thomas train reference was brilliant.

You've got a four-in-one weapon, ram, machine gun and even a mobile bomb. At the beginning of the round I always take the truck. If anyone steals it from me I detonate the C4 because I'm territorial (and love making big explosions for zero reason). Take the truck and drive around the map ramming folks. You get top damage super often, plus if you clear the way for your allies to grab the money bag or even grab it yourself, the moment you die the truck detonates in a brilliant killer ball of fire, garunteeing that anyone trying to rob your corpse of the bag is dead as well... *Evil laughter* I..also like the heavy machine gun. I use the operator Boris so I can soak up damage, and just switch to my secondary weapon (knife) when I want to travel fast on foot... I don't use the truck/pinto that often... feels sorta cheezy to me... but I like that plan. I am starting to finally get paired up with peeps who have the purple and orange operators so they take a LOT to kill... this sounds like a good way to get an early lead... on some maps.
Of course, with control mode, it may not work as well depending on whether you are on attack or def... have you tried it in those modes?

There's a new mode. I forgot the name. It usually was deathmatch only. The shotgun is my fave. Properly levelled, its a one shot kill. Unless you meet a high level operator.
There was one instance I faced a lone enemy, I threw a nade and it landed behind a steel drum near him. Meanwhile he killed me with his rifle. The nade eventually exploded but it didn't kill him. The flying drum did. Absolutely hilarious.
