If you are last in a league every time, you shouldn't be in that league.

There are things I like about the league system.
The two main ones are that the visible league score finally gives a bit of transparency to MM, and that there are rewards that are structured to give a positive incentive to move (in equipment levels and play) toward Top.
Some things I like less, but oh well.

If you are last in a league every time, you shouldn't be in that league. It's true, though it may be something we don't want to admit. Upside is, if you admit it and let yourself drop down a league to some place where you aren't always struggling just to not finish last.... you'll probably start having a lot more fun.

I believe your understanding off english language is a bit worst then mine... my post is about all the amount of people that play the game hiding jumping and shooting every 20 seconds....im not complayning about beeing first , 2 of last is it clear to you? im saying that because the new system the game hás become borring, because the main purpose of people is not to be last...só they hide, jump and shoot every 20 seconds... should I inform you this is a action game?

Mostly what it means is that Griffins are really popular right now, with a side of midrange and aphids are pretty powerful.

Yes, pop tart exist a long time true, But the game has become Just pop tarting and long distance shooting... Before, people were chassing griffings, and ir you lost the robot no problem...now you see a Griffins, 20 seconds latter again...on the other side tis the Same... Never before the game was like this, and every time before there were griffs in the game... Simply the league system doesn't promote attack players, instead just defensive ones playing from 500m distance...

If you think that attacking now was the same as your Gepards charging down center beacon in Shenzen, you are mistaken.

This thread made me think. Aside from myself I don't think I've had a game in 2 months where I did not see a Griffin in action, not a single one.

Dear friend, can you contribute with some important argument to the conversation? if not please let the adults talk. who the ?firetruck? are you to even imagine how I play or even what are my robots? has I said before, the game as changed, and for the ones o like to play attack and do damage , instead of been scared behind a wall, didn't change for the best.

I have a griif, and I like to play with it.. But o believe 75% of the people are more concerned with not beeing last then enjoying the game... Hope it changes in the near future..

[...] Question: Is it really possible to drop down the leagues, has anyone prooven this? That would mean that tanking is still a problem. And what about the rewards for ranking up? Are they granted only once? Otherwise I'd jo-jo up and down the whole day.

There's a lot of this, even down at the rookie tier level... and it's not actually good for the game. Between the new MM and leagues, hangar diversity has really suffered. Ag lights and mediums have almost no purpose now. On maps like PP and Dead City, a full roster of xDB Griffins is all that is needed for individual play... and they aren't exactly shabby on more open maps either due to their jump mobility. Silver and Gold league play is a constant barrage of jump attacks from Griffins. It does get a little old after a while.

Seems stupid but what the hell. My favorites are the ones with the cherry centers.

I've experimented a lot with Carnage and Stalker recently and am still not at the fun level compared to when I was running Boas, Galahads and Gepards, just to name a few. I do not complain about MM or Pixo, but wish they would provide something that would allow me to run mediums and lights again.

Are they granted only once? Otherwise I'd jo-jo up and down the whole day. Yes actually, I've done it. Made bronze three times now but am back to private once again due to extraordinary f'tardedness by so many of my so called teammates. There's nothing so satisfying as having to play with a bunch of f'tards with really nice equipment who do all that they can to ignore the beacons and flanking threats. I can guarantee that if you can manage to get yourself into a few matches with a bunch of f'tards on your side you'll be sliding down the rungs to a lower level in no time too. And yes, you only aquire your rank bonus once. Dropping down a level and then coming back up you do not aquire another bonus.

As Heathen said, you don't get the reward for progression again when you go back up. But you can fight battle after battle using your high end hangar against the really strange assortment of opponents that inhabit those bottom leagues and earn 5-10 gold per match. So tanking followed by farming is not only doable, it's easy with the bonus of being able to use whatever hangar you like to crush the weak.

OP is talking about the style of play that we often see now with the dominant midrange game. I don't think he's talking about the Griffin in particular.
I have to agree about the standstills. The gameplay is more stagnant now than before. Especially in Shenzhen, its often 5 minutes of potshotting before the losing team hits critical and are forced to attack. Too much hugging the walls and people bunched up in one area. Back in the Rhino days and the Boa days these were ripe for the pickings.
Edit: I don't think the league has anything to do with it.

I have been calling the one style of play in the maps where the center beacon is exposed - a game of chicken.
Yam is king of the hill.

OMG It is true... and, yes, Lances clubbing basic Ag light and medium bots isn't particularly kind. I really haven't seen many Gepards - when you can run anything, I suspect the sheer killing power of the big bots is more effective for farming than the speed of the relatively-fragile Gepard.

Dear Darkangel, That is why I said : leave the talk to the grownup...as you may have realized you're the only one not bringing nothing to the conversation as you might have realized already, so go to bed with all your baby friends please That way, thanks and goodbye Oh look. Swiss army builds! It's not that your're not good, your hangar is garbage. I'd suggest 1 Taran and Two Magnums on your Galahad. 1 Taran and 1 Magnum on your Gareth. 3 Aphids (if you have it) along with an Thunder on you Leo. I assume that is an all Plasma Griffin that is cut from the picture. Taran Magnum Griffins are food for Galahads, use Orkan Pinatas. Don't know what you have for your 5th slot, or if you have it at all. If you do have it, a midranger will be perfect for you. A Pin Tulumbas Griffin or a Trident Carnage or a Trident Pin Natasha are reliable builds. Next time you complain, I'd ask for advice first.
