As the title says, what do you guys think about the ancile after the adjustment and i would like to hear your opinions and thoughts about it.
NO poo-throwing at each other and keep it simple and clean, discuss the current state of the ancile, how the nerf affected it and by how much etc etc!

Which nerf? Ancile was strengthened in the last update.
Yes, it's worth it, but it's not a must have.

I have three Anciles at lvl 9 and they are loads of fun. Two Anciles and two ECUs on a Natasha and the third Ancile on a Leo/Magnum or Vityaz/Magnum or Lancelot/Taran. Two Anciles on a Raijin should be ridiculous fun as well.
Heavy use of Anciles keeps your stats low. Kill rate and dmg goes down. But you still contribute a lot to your team if you turn center beacon into a fortress for a while. I've seen team mates who were sticking to me and my shields doing incredible damage and leaving a path of destruction on the battlefield. Anciles are definately worth it for the fun factor. Running Anciles effectively is extremely entertaining and at the same time you actually tank your stats...but at least you do it in a way that still benefits the team.

I'm against tanking aswell. I just enjoy that the Anciles lowered my stats enough to place me in silver league. Overpowered bots like TT Furies are very rare in my matches. I can even mess around with Punishers again and enjoy some experimenting with unusual combos. The two lvl 9 Anciles on my lvl 7 Natasha have 140K and the two lvl 9 ECUs add another 206K. That's already a total of 463K while not even near to being maxxed. It's been a trident-eating tank so far. I worry more about plasma weapons as they can hurt me the most when I take Natasha out.

Might just be me, but Id rather have the additional DPS than HP.

I've played with one. My general takeaway was that in squadding where you can coordinate, it may have a very strong role, but in general random PUGs, like [apotheosis] I'd rather have the DPS

i play in diamond league, where i find maxed hangar, i'm actually raising my ancile to 9 to 10, never try it before, i think 10-11 could be good as well to face off enemies on this league, that's right?

I run three Ancile robots, a Taran Ancilot and a Zeus Carnage as part of my regular hangar and a Fujin as change of pace sometimes. I also tried an Ancile Magnum Leo and an Ancile Trident Fury just for fun.
Tridents are everywhere, and in close range you can expect a lot of Aphids. Ancile shields still regenerate pretty easily, and that's the point about "DPS than HP" - it's potentially many more HP than the net Ancile value. I had many cases where I fully regenerated the shield of my Ancilot after having it depleted. Of course you have to pick your battles, an Ancile will not enable you to jump in the middle of reds and survive, and red Thunders are always bad news. So you have to seek 1-on-1 matchups, which can be trying if the reds just stay away from you, or come in groups.
As for builds, the robots with a built in Ancile have become more valuable, no doubt about that. Still not a big fan of Fujin, but it might actually be viable now (especially with 3 Tarans or 3 Hydras). Still very vulnerable to Plasma, as is the Carnage, but Fujin is slower. For the Ancilot, I experimented with a Thunder setup, but the Lance isn't very nimble even when sprinting so it is often hard to get close. With the Ancile the Lance can sit back at 330m and the Tarans provide a ton of DPS, wich is especially efficient on maps like Yama or Shenzen. Ancilot has the special benefit of enjoying "total protection", so the Ancile is almost a no brainer.
I wouldn't slap an Ancile on every robot with a heavy hardpoint though, it's critical that the Ancile protected robot still has enough punch. Magnum Ancile Leo was kinda OK (but clearly inferior to the Taran Lance), Ancile Fury wasn't. Ancile Fury is just a horribly slow Carnage, and Ancile Natasha has roughly the same firepower and durability stats.

My general takeaway was that in squadding where you can coordinate, it may have a very strong role, but in general random PUGs, like [apotheosis] I'd rather have the DPS Ancile works well with careful play. Use your Ancile robot as brickfighter and it will last only marginally longer. But pick your battles, use cover, you can suddenly survive countless Trident hits, letting your Ancile regenerate.

No idea what is shizophrenic right there in my previous post. I'm not tanking on purpose, never have done it before and I see no reason to do so in the future. I give a fart about stats to be honest and just care about fun gameplay since the old matchmaker is gone. It's just a solid strategy to make me stay where I am and far away from shizophrenic. I just mentioned the tanking qualities because that's what most folks seem to care or complain about these days.

I used to run and Ancileot but found that most of the reds I face are using energy/plasma weapons, when I first started using my Ancile at level 22ish. There were a lot more guns and missiles back at that level, now that it has turned into a plasma fest I do not see a use in giving up my Thunder for the shield.

The rebalance swapped the prior 2x damage reporting for high Regen. I felt this was the better route as the Regen made the prior buff a bit much.
Now, busting a shield gives the attacker a couple more seconds before the shield regens (20% v previous 10%).
I think the Ancile is still a valid option. Maxed it provides pretty good protection (as it should since I gave up a maxed thunder).
