Thunder Orkan, Ancile Taran.
I would not recommend Ancile Orkan since any Plasma Galahad will ruin your 8900 gold investment.

Thunder Orkan, Ancile Taran. I would not recommend Ancile Orkan since any Plasma Galahad will ruin your 8900 gold investment. There are plenty of folks who disagree with that... Not evey Plasmahad will get to that fabled perfect range, 350m - 300m, and stay there... but plenty of Lance pilots, with higher leveled Lances, can rush you to get you in range. Not every Galahad is mobile. There's plusses and minuses to both setups... but I don't feel, at all, that the Ork Ancile is bad. I actually prefer it to the Taran version, myself. |

The firepower u lose by running the Ancile over the Thunder isn't worth it to me. I've killed many a Ancilot with a plasmahad or my plasma Griff heck even my thunder teran Lance. Teran Ancile lance I've even killed by running inside the shield with an ork/pinata Galahad. Just my .02

Orkans only work against the Galahad in <200m.

Orkans work fine on Galahads out to 300 meters. Depends on if the pilot knows to backpedal or not. Most I run across do not. If they're moving laterally, you just have to practice leading/trailing your fire.
