Maybe a map where there is an upper walkway only accesible for jumping bots, or a pit where robots can get stuck.

New game mode perhaps... like 3 vs 3 last team standing (no beacons, pure damage and chaos)...could introduce smaller maps (to avoid domination by Trident Furys )

Maps. Anything that breaks up getting the same map 5+ times in a row. I like canyon as it's pretty, but being wasted from 1000m is tiresome.

How about working to make the game more robust, i.e. address things like connection drops, target reticle jumping inappropriately unless you lock it, virtual joystick bouncing to center when pulled straight down and you touch another part of the screen to shoot/jump/rush, reduce lag under heavy traffic conditions, etc? Or add a little more complexity to splash modeling so tridents don't do full damage 20m from impact around solid walls? Or improve the HUD interface so you can actually read useful information like range to target under all conditions?
New stuff is easy to ask for and even drives short-term revenue spikes, but a quality game engine is what keeps people playing. I've only been playing since November, but I get the impression the game engine and interface haven't changed appreciably in quite a while.
Of the available options in this poll: maps. Users will continue to create plenty of interesting content just using the diverse stable of bots and weapons we already have available, but each map is another canvas for expression.

Very much agree. The game could use a few quality of life improvements. For me: Weapons For myself they're the main factor that determines player behaviour and what tactics one can employ, so the more interesting variations of play that new weapons can add (which make sense and add depth) that can be achieved and considered, the better. And however those weapons add a dynamic to the game, the maps and robots can be designed to compliment them.

It would be nice to be able to practice against ai, especially if you have clan mates. To be able to choose another squad to play against?

Games like this(yes, a bit weird to generalise like this) usually have some of those crazy players that will bother to create the nicest things like maps.
It would be amazing if pixonic made a system that lets people create maps/weapons/whatnot under their supervision.
"Pixonic verified player-created maps" would work exactly the same way as our current maps since pixonic checks and verifies them. More maps, better diversity, dynamic effort coordination by pixonic as in "guys we have great maps waiting for verification, so let's focus on weapons/bots this week/month"

Most games where the developer allows the player base to have a say in artistry and even gameplay usually works out for good. The test server does that, but if Pix were to actually allow the players to start creating, magical things would happen.
