Hey everyone! So, I saw this ad yesterday, can't remember if it was from War Robots or not. Anyway, it looked interesting so I tried it.

So far so good. The game play mechanic is like a cross between BoT and Planet Commander. You have free aim and auto fire of some weapons and manual fire on others. The action is pretty fast paced and there were more people playing than I thought there would be. The weapons seem pretty balanced. For example, the homing missiles only shoot 3 and don't do all that much damage, but they WILL hit if you're out in the open.
I like the build mechanics of the game though. You have weapons, armour and modules and a limited number slots in each section of a bot. So, you have lots of flexibility on what you can do and how your bot looks. There's also a split between wheeled and legged bots, which makes for some very dynamic battles.
I'll try to take some videos soon and post them so you all can see. It's very early days for me, and the game is still kind of rough, but the maps are dynamic and challenging and so far, the game is pretty fun.
