The original video where the devs was interviewed and discussed the planned changes for Battle of Titans went 2019, and is in Russian.
Ace Thunder sums that video in a much shorter, more elegant way and in English.
I'm a little disappointed that they are working about the AI more than new maps and Titans, but still, something to look forward for.
The new little class mech that they are working on, is that bringing the Bully back or is that a new design?
They are adding an Escort mode to the game as an objective. I got mixed feeling about this since an Escort mode was introduced in Mechwarrior Online and it proved to be a flop. One of the reasons why the mode failed in MWO was because of the bad AI pathing. Perhaps, with BoT's better effort in AI, you might have different outcome.
Zoom feature I like to see, its a common mode to Mechwarrior games, other robot games and Russian warfare military games. Currently the only robot game on mobile with a zoom feature is Robokrieg.
First person gets a big thumbs up. Will give you a true Mechwarrior feel. The only robot game in mobile with a first person feature is Robot Warfare.
I wonder about the art of a quad legged robot or Titan at the video preface. The devs and Ace never mentioned anything about that, but its design looks consistent to a BoT Titan.

So Far my only issue with BOT is the graphics. There is so much flak tracer tracks and debris in the air that it is hard to see the enemy. between the graticule and all the crap flying around as you fire your weapons and the buildings and trees and all

They still have a ways to go to be competitive with War Robots, IMHO. I think maybe they tried to make it too realistic. There is a trade-off between realism and play-ability.

Yes, very sad not to hear, Maps, Maps, Maps and uuhhh Maps. I like the improvements, but dammit I want some variety! I'm not so sure about them doing a 1st person view at this point. Seems like an odd priority.
I'm glad to hear that they're doing something though. Every now and then when I play, it looks like both sides are all AI and just me. Makes me worry that the players are giving up and returning to War Robots. I sure hope folks are patient and stick around to some degree.

I don't know if it is because my rating went up or if I just played enough games but it was like I stepped out of beginner mode and into the real game. |

I've got near 1000 cups I think and earned teir 2 weapons and upgrades. No idea how many matches, but 100's maybe near 1000. I'd think I was past the beginner AI. Maybe i've just got ?dookie? timing when I've tried to play.... |
