Hi guys I'm new to this forum. I am considering to buy me one of the following robots: Rhino, Fujin or Raijin. Which robot should I buy? I recently bought the Carnage, but I am completely deceived by the robot, since the barely something can withstand and therefore it is useless for the close combat. So I do not want to make the same fault again and ask you here in the forum which robot is better and I should buy. ps.: sorry for my bad English

Carnage - had the same feeling; don't consider it a real mech until upgraded to minimum L6...7, everything below that is an anemic sissy missy just waiting for few plasma rounds. New bot? Hard to say; they are all totally different machines and depending on your playstyle, preferences, current configuration of the hangar, the answers may well...vary. Other aspect may be to spend the WSP on weapons first in case you are not yet kitted with enough Tridents/Tarans/Magnums. Post your hangar to begin with.

Rhino is better than the Fujin and everything is better than the Raijin.
However, it is important to get at least 4 Tarans and Magnums each before looking at anything else.

Raijin, I agree - free Ag for all! As for the Fujin vs Rhino, I would say, it depends. Fujin can be a great support bot (MR) and in case you can squad, a decent companion to run together with some other bots and share ancile when taking a stand. Just don't do a lonely run with 3 Tarans on it - high dpm, but goes legs-up after few seconds... Rhino - if you have Orkans - yes, otherwise it may depend again on the playstyle or what hangar is actually missing to have a decent line-up.

I would always get the Rhino before the Fujin because the Rhino is more useful in the anti-Plasma Griffin role in the lower damage tiers.

Make sure you have four Tarans and Magnums before buying any other Workshop weapons or robots.

It doesn't have much health and can die very easily, leaving you with three robots to compete against players with four or five. Switch it out for a Griffin with Taran/Magnums and switch the Aphids on the Aphid/Tulumbas Griffins to CRV Pins to keep your weapon ranges the same. Then switch the Natasha out for a Boa Thunder/Orkan and the Leo out for a Galahad Taran/Magnum.

Carnage - did you think of buying a set of Tridents for it?

Carnage and Leo are fine. You could use some more Plasma, replace those Tulums on the Griffin by Tarans. A Taran/Magnum Griff has the highest damage output of any robot in the game, no harm in running 5 Magnums in a hangar. That Natasha would be better off with a pair of Tridents and a pair of Pins. Until you have the Tridents, better use a Pin/Tulum Griffin in its place. (Tarans have priority over Tridents.) So, I guess I would do this: - First step is Griffin + Natasha -> RDB Griffin (Tulus/Pins) and Aphid/Taran Griff.
- Then, get the 5th slot with a Taran/Magnum Griff or Trident/Pin Natasha (depending on whether you prefer mid or short range)
- Put Tridents on that Carnage.
- Now you can consider a Rhino for WSPs and Orkans for gold. Goal would be to work at least 2 Orkans in the lineup, better 4.
