Well, this isn't a real rant, but actually it isn't advice either. It's more like a small story about what could happen, when you get distracted, don't pay attention to the flow of battle, or when you just think, nothing will happen to you.
Yesterday I dropped in Shenzhen and as always on this map, I opened it with my Gareth.
I swiftly cruised around a Natasha with Trebs and Molots and saw two stalkers race to the left beacon. Of course I decided to grab the right one, already noticing that several reds are on their way. Since my Gary is fast, I took the beacon with ease and decided, I should buy some time for my teammates to follow. My choice was obvious: Guerillia fighting. Corner shooting, retreating, ambushing. So I did just that. When you do corner shooting right, you barely get to see your target, but I identified it as Thunder Carnage. I managed to chew away almost half of its health bar before I had to reposition my bot. For a very short time, I lost track of the Carny. Just a second, maybe two and then it happened: I looked at the TV. Let it be five seconds, maybe seven. Of course my Gareth was still moving. I took a quick look around and was almost convinced, nothing greatly changed. Next I took a right turn around the next building and promptly saw my target. A Thunder Carnage. Shield in front, I engaged it again. Or so I thought. It took a second, till I noticed its full health bar. It took me another three seconds to die. It was a total of three Thunder Carnies that shredded me to tiny pieces of junk metal.
That's the story. As I said, it is not a rant. Actually I laughed after the match. But it isn't advice. What advice should that be? Don't watch TV while playing? It is just a story about what could happen. And I hope, you got some stories to add.

The very best time to shoot someone is when he's looking somewhere else.
Lack of awareness means you miss opportunities to do it to other people, but other people don't miss opportunities to do it to you.

I play on my phone, so it's hard to see what some of these bots are packing sometimes. It's hard not to get a little pissed for melting a bot I had a bigger plans for, but it's kind of funny too, cuz you know that pilot is laughing their 「bum-bum」 off for my stupidity.
