inspirace I literally just go down the list and do whatever is not complete. I wasn’t able to really abuse early 2.0, because I was not playing for a couple months But when I focus on something I hammer it out with fury. Also I don’t claim gear unless I don’t have any in my inventory yet Components conversion will be a reality soon and I’ll dump then I’m telling ya, don’t focus on staying alive. That’s why the bulwark is such a dumb bot with dragoons. I actually threw redeemers on my weyland, and my wins went up, as did my score etc. Now I take the blob thing directly in to brawl, and everyone follows. Go in, matrix dodge orkan specs, kill them, get in cover; heal, let teammates enjoy your 5k/ second healing while you recover, push again, repeat till you die. I’m thinking I will remove my dragoons from my line up altogether. Not enough dps .

It make me smile imagining all blue teammates follow a Weyland advancing to the frontline. That should be a lot of fun.
I agree with Dragoons - I am seeing so many Dragoon Bulwarks in larger maps. Yes, they are effective in defense and sometimes can rake ton of damages at safe distances against opponents who are willing to throw their bots in the open. But they are also expensive and can be beaten by ad hoc organized charges of bots with shields. I will stick with my Tempest-Molot Natasha for the foreseeable future...
So your model is to play to maximize Ag output. The Workshop is more like a place to bleed out overflow Ag, rather than getting really some new gears you want to use out of it. I hope the conversion rate/cost be reasonable, ...

My workshop only produced Gepard components to get the 500k silver bonuses every day.
It has been idle since. The way to get new gear is through collecting tokens and tickets for the Royale/Black Market, the silver needs to be saved for upgrades. And this is just what Pixonic wanted, a move to a purely gambling economy.

inspiraceYes, I’m down to my last 130m in upgrades to fully max my heavy weapons . In June, I was able to make 7k, this time around when I pushed last month, I almost hit 9k. This month, due to cheap upgrades and Halloween event, I’ve solely focused on silver acquisition instead of league score. I believe after I max out, I’m gonna build my hanger to attempt a run at the legend league with primarily with raijin.

I suddenly feel that there is no point of running the workshop, except for perhaps getting the level-up bonus (31 LVL was 3.3M Ag).
There is no silver to upgrade what I already got from the Royale + BM + workshop since the new economy (listed below more or less in the order of getting them):
a Weyland,
two Chimeras (for Weyland, now deeply regretting ... haha),
two Avengers, a Lancelot,
a Falcon,
a Bulwark,
a Mender, the second Spectre,
two Sparks,
a Corona,
a Viper (a lucky haul from a SC), etc.
The Weyland (lvl9), one of the Chimeras (lvl8 ...), and the Mender (lvl8) are the closest to servicable levels but not yet there. And I'm silver-broken. Essentially, I realize that I haven't replaced nor upgraded any gear I actually run in battles since the new economy (and still doing fine, perhaps due to the recent change in league point system).
And I am soon going to get a Glory and an Exodus. But what's the point if I don't have Ag to upgrade them Anyone else leaving the workshop idle for the same reason - lack of Ag and a backlog in the upgrade queue? The Ag reward for WS level-up won't compensate the Ag spent to level it up.
Perhaps, I should also start opening bronze or silver chest. I was into gold chests after getting a few 6k components, but now they all look worthless. I need Ag (and Au),
You can mine what you make for silver. So it's free silver. As far as stuff goes... upgrades take way longer than acquisition.

Here is a part of my backlog of stuff that I have accumulated entirely for free over the last few months with no particular effort. There is probably a few billion silver to go. In reality I am only really interested in mender right now and will stick some already levelled mags and a Taran on it to get it playable once levelled. I am though still going for a single halo from the workshop to stick on a pursuer I already run as seem to have no luck with it in BM or the card flipping game. All in all I am pretty ok with the state of the game from a resource gathering perspective - I don’t remember the last time I was even tempted to consider spending and i have managed to get hold of one or more of all the rooting stuff excl halo without even using the workshop and assume I will end up with some of the suppression and corrosion stuff before too long. So I guess my conclusion is I don’t really feel a need to use the workshop, but actually despite complaining about it before it came, now it seems to be a pretty ok option if you decide you want something.

Since I am trying to collect one of each Robot, I still use the WS. I do not plan on leveling them all up significantly. I do a have a few old economy bots that are L12 and I keep two or 3 in my hangar in order to at least make a good show of it during games. I will put a low level bot in my hangar just to play around with it. I try to take one of my lower level bots and make it a project and just focus on bumping it up to nine or ten ( I have a Pursuer project leveling up now ). This half time show during the event has been quite helpful the past couple of weeks. The new upgrade times are painfully long and costly. But the amount of time it takes to upgrade is about the amount of time it takes me to rebuild my silver stockpile after spending for the upgrade. Unless I use gold to speed the upgrade process, which I have been doing during this Holloween event in order to take advantage of the shorter upgrade times. So my silver pile is not as high as it was before "Holloween". I also "watch" the time reduction videos which helps speed things up a bit. As of this post I am approximately 2 hours away from being 200 components shy of a Bulgasari that I have been building in the WS. The wait times for the Bulgasari components are also rather long. Which also helps with recouping the silver paid for the components. I also mostly spin the bronze chest as it seems to give out silver, gold and tokens more often. If I spin and win a bot I sell it and it's weapons right away as I already have all of the bots that are in the bronze chest. I play this game for fun, been doing so for a bit over a year. I don't drop wads of $$$ and I think that those who do are spending money for nothing. I do however appreciate the folks who spend the big bucks as it keeps the game online for people like me. So Thanks for that! I just take my time and build what I can with all of the free stuff that I get from Pix. Snap!! Sounds like my plan exactly. Once this event upgrade time finishes I'm going back to my legacy rollout. 12mk2 all my old bots so I can run them and give them their best shot.
I get bored with the one hanger.
I've almost printed off my fourth bot from the workshop since it started. After they nerfed the times I seem to have heaps of silver again. Will I run my newly acquired Falcon probably but I mainly meed it for the museum to sit along side the Kias and Hellburner etc. Just need to jag a Butch from a silver chest.

also silver poor here. I'm mostly wrapping up what I have more than 2-4K components of and then I'm happy with level 6 because these better guns ROCK. as in I feel I only need level 6 not 9 for everything. iOS expert 2

There's never enough Ag so it's one or the other, upgrade or cop components. And you still need to upgrade anything you build if you intend on using it.Since Pix broke the new W.S. I haven't pulled the trigger on any new stuff.Great job Pix!

Hint: change your game. Play with level 6 weapons, on level 9 bots (for max speed). Suddenly you can play any setup you want, and upgrade any new stuff you get in reasonable time. Somoeone wanting to do this could switch today to their unleveled gear, and let MM start dropping them to where this gear belongs (with 5 slots, Gold or Diamond, I think), while upgrading the new gear towards their set low targets. I don't really recommend a smurf account for this particular purpose (playing with new gear), because new players have no access to the new gear (without spending a lot of money), as the new WS2.0 is so slow that Gusts and maybe Avengers are perhaps the only semi-meta gear one can hope to produce during first several months of playing (the Black Marked provides plenty of legacy bots and gear with reasonable key grinding, at least). Before the league points change, every 6th place lose will -22. I did your way of playing weak old school hangar like golem gareth and forgot to hide my MK2 weapons in the other hangar, my rank went down to expert and pix suspended my account for potential "tanking" and put me back to 5000 league points. I explained to them and got out in 1 day, but league is setback to 5000. So yeah, your way seems reasonable but it's actually tanking if pix have the data of your MK2 stuff. It doesn't matter you use the MK2 or not, if you own a lot of MK2s and sitting in diamond/gold, even though you decided not to use them at all pix can still suspend your account and put you back to 5000. Basically, you own some MK2 stuff, you are not allowed to go down below master 3, if you do that's 100% intentional tanking in Pix's eyes. You may play 999 games using a lvl6 hangar, but the moment you pull out MK2 to try it out for just 1 game, you are doing crimes. I suggest don't do that, your account will be at risk. Pix is slowly doing things about tanking, a lot of extreme tankers(gold league below) are slowly dying out. Even MK2 at expert is at risk. Plus the new point system, I think Pix is doing the police work underground.
I wish they would do it on the PC side. There have been tankers in this game for over a month that drop down to bronze league, and have their lvl 12 Mk 2 bots and gear on all the time. They are still in the game doing it. Though, on PC it doesn't really matter as much, because everyone from private league to diamond are all in the same match together most of the time. It only benefits them if they know when most new players are online. But then they run most of them away from the game. So they are shooting themselves in the foot, just because they can't compete on a fair playing field.
Razar.

I've only got one taran in my stash, so as I'm wrapping up my last Mercury orders, I'll crank out a few more tarans. They're cheap enough and should keep up the progress (slowly) on upgrading the WS. Good to have some extras on hand in case I luck into a godforsaken dash bot or an even more godforsaken sphincter. And yes it would have to be luck, because I'm not intentionally wasting any resources on acquiring any of them. I think if I ever saw a sphincter in my hangar I'd have to gouge my own eyes out so there'd be no chance of ever having to look at it again. But I digest.

Getting more gear at Level 1 is pretty useless at this point, given how easy it is to get components from crates, and if you're very lucky, the royale. I need the silver to upgrade, not buy components at inflated prices.
Now if they had an option to get pre-leveled gear in Workshop, that would be interesting. For what you have to pay in silver, If they made gear level 8,9,10 and adjusted the prices reasonably, it might be attractive.

I have had constant production since it came out. Made Raven, Falcon, Pursuer, Mender, third Spectre, Exodus, Sparks, Avengers etc. My Bulwark will be done in 3 days and working on Mercury with the other 3 slots. I have plenty of silver so the Falcon I upgraded to level 5 during event, Pursuer same thing then speed upgrading to level 9 and Mender the same to level 5 and speed upgraded to level 12. For Bulwark and Mercury will get to them to a semi usable level like 5 so I can play around with them. You don't have to have a bot at level 12 usable unless maybe you are a Legend. The only bot I probably will not work on until I'm bored is the blow up one that is used by the clans these days.

inspirace I literally just go down the list and do whatever is not complete. So the Weyland is actually worth building? I think I have over 3000 components mainly due to clan tasks. Dragoons I held off speed upgrading in event. Definitely they don't do alot of damage at lower levels. I don't like the reload or firing on them at all. But I tell ya when I am getting hit by one from say a Fury it wipes me out. Not sure I would part my Dragoons if they were leveled high. I may get mine to level 10 and put em out there. Mine are only 8,8,5 (OE, OE, NE) I already have two Inquis and two Redeemers and haven't created the ones from the event. Most likely will convert those to things I want like Mercury or another Halo. Although I'm tempted to hold out till the Greek bots hit the workshop in 3 months or so.

This new premium deal is the reason you never let workshop run idle. You never know when gear will be Easier to upgrade. As far as I can tell. War Robots has no inventory limit. So no reason not to stock pile

Perhaps I wasn't paying attention - when did they prevent players producing components for items that they already have ?10k components of?
Examples: I have 11k Exodus comps sitting in storage and the Exodus has been removed from my production list. Same thing with Hellburner, I have 10k in storage and can not produce more (not that I'd want to) Same for Mender, Avenger, etc.
The only exception or partial bypass is the most recently produced items; the "Latest Orders" list allows me to repeat orders for items that I have more than 10k comps of, but that recent list is only 2 items long...

Building a new Halo until I can finish off receiving comps through Royale. After that it’s going to be 2 Vipers. That wep is insane on the Bullwark. Going to be one of the primary 2019 meta builds.

My WS was idle for over a month. I recently started churning out some Halo components. I didn't have enough silver to do upgrades and WS, but now I'm slowing up on my upgrades since I don't have enough silver to keep them going past Level 9. It's a weird situation right now with the economy, and seems imbalanced.

Started playing about a month before the recent ws nerf. Since then my ws runs 24/7 to produce ~90% of my gear: 5x Avenger 4x Aphid 2x Zeus 3x Taran 2x Magnum 2x Orkan 2x Storm 3x Gust Rhino Raijin Falcon 2/3 of a Pursuer (work in progress)
I can kinda see why they nerfed it.
