What if. An individual is in Gold Tier...and they have a Cossack in their hangar(or multiple Cossacks). Wouldn't they see Cossacks every match?

i see Cossacks every game and I'm in ex-gold Then logic dictates that you run a Cossack in every match Most Cossacks I see are players tanking, but definately not in every match.

With the current matchmaker the way it is, the Stalker is one of the best bots there is right now. It's got great speed and maneuverability, which keep it alive pretty well even against TT guys. That speed lets you get from cover to cover faster, get around to capture beacons or get firing position better, or just circle strafe reds to death. Stalker and Gary are the best light robots by far, between them it's a matter of personal preference. Gary does very well against gun and plasma build, while Stalker can stay alive longer against rocket builds and can steal beacons while in stealth mode. Stalker is generally better on maps with cover, while Gary is better on open maps. The matchmaking is very much in flux, but I do hope that this paradox (long-term gold output is higher with a light hangar) will be history soon. I also bought a Stalker, and it collects dust in the back part of my hangar. But it does suit the playing style of other players, so... If the OP likes to run a light beacon capper, Stalker is the only decent light robot that can be had without gold, and it's better by a mile than a Destrier. But I'd pick up at least a few Tarans and Magnums before buying it, and I'd recommend getting a Carnage before the Stalker. Carnage and Fujin are the only WSP robots that I use (Carnage is a fixture in my hangar, Fujin more a just-for-fun, change-of-pace robot).

It can hold it's own and deal damage yet have decent survivability and speed. Even if you are tanking, sometimes you just have to bring out the big guns, the carnage would be your go to bot.

I think the Stalker can be a really amazing bot. I have had the Stalker for quite some time now. I think if you use it well and don't get overconfident because of the Steath ability. Then it can be deadly.

-7 for the Gareth shield?? That's harsh, I'd think compared to a non shielded bot, it'd be more like +7, that shield lets you dance and blast plasma bots "forever".

Even if you are tanking, sometimes you just have to bring out the big guns, the carnage would be your go to bot. Not a fan of tanking, and the Carnage fills a different role in the hangar - it's my designated midranger, and works best with Tridents or Zeus. But I value it very much, and if I carry only one midranger (which I usually do) I'll choose it over my Trident Fury, for exactly its flexibility. It can flank and defend a corner beacon against a quick robot coming from the outside, it can help controlling an area like Shenzen or Yama center due to its protection against rockets and its quickness (so it can reposition to get those other robots into line of sight), it can keep that sweet 530-600m distance even against a charging Rhino for some time, and it's quick enough to cap a beacon if necessary. I do not have a light robot in my lineup. My designated beacon cappers are a Galahad and an Aphid/Orkan Griff, and both work exceptionally well in this role, as they will win 1 on 1 against any Stalker, Gepard or Gary.
