I agree, these should be a pre selected exclusion from the match making, that way they don't even enter the que for "said type" of game mode. This way it also doesn't ruin the matches for people who really want to play "said mode" of game play. This is two problems solved in 1 move but eh, we are talking about pixonic here. You don't play pixonic….pixonic plays you!

Wow. Just ran into Chile squad. What a bunch of tanking panzies. TDM with 4 of them on the team and not a SINGLE bot dropped in.

And in the last week, the tanking has been the worst I've ever seen. At least 1 or 2 tankers every single match.

It's honestly not sustainable. If this continues, I'm definitely out, which sucks because despite the stupidity of the clear pay2win approach it's a fun game. But less so when it's constantly 6v3 or 6v4...

I do report tankers, and I do get personal feedback, that they are banning them.
And yes, they do disappear for a longer time.

Exactly who are you people reporting this activity to anyways? Someone who actually cares what you think another player should be playing with in any particular "league"? After all this time, three plus years in fact, it seems that you would come to realize that for PIXONIC this kind of hanger shaming that you all think you are doing has absolutely nothing at all to do with what PIXONIC deems a tanker. PIXONIC is absolutely ecstatic about player having the ability to manipulate their rankings and play with whatever they want to at any time or ranking level. You can keep 「female dog」ing and 「dookie」 but that is the reality. PIXONIC only considers players that leave unwanted or undesired game modes and maps too often as tankers. To them it has nothing whatsoever to do with what you run where and when. I bounced up and down from Expert to Bronze constantly during the old Leavers Queue days and during the Low Priority Queue. Not once was I ever punished for doing so. I only got punished for deciding on my own which game maps and modes that I would play and which I would not andfor running all ECU bots and not doing damage in matches. That is it. So shut off the waterworks and 「female dog」ing because you are just wasting your time imposing your gaming morals upon others and expecting changes. IT. IS. NOT. GOING. TO. HAPPEN. Say that to yourself ten times and let it sink in deep.

Disappointing that their "action" is against mode choosers and not league manipulators.  That in itself should tell you something.  They will take action against someone that goes against their designed game play but not against someone that goes against players gameplay.  if you get what im saying.

I don't want to ruin other player's games and that is why I dump immediately when I see I'm in an undesirable game mode. But then I'm certainly not playing any game to provide enjoyment for other people's benefit either. Like many my gaming time is limited. I dump immediately to provide enough time for replacements to be found.

This game had/has but one game mode for years and I've been playing it that long, since 2014 when it went public. I've spent a bit of money on the game, enough not to want to walk away from it. I did not ask for three other completely unenjoyable(to me at least) game modes to be dumped upon me. And I certainly will not play them just to satisfy 5 other random players' gaming fix. I only play them while squading and using comms so that I know that the other player/s in my squad actually want to play them.

Maybe you should be hinting at PIXONIC to make those separate game modes a permanent thing. Because I'm sure as hell not going to stop the way I deal with any crappy game modes.

Oh yes, I certainly do. I actually believe it is cultural. Every culture has their own sense of fairness and morality. And although we have an awful lot of similarity there are plenty of significant differences too. That is why some are happy with the matchmaker and others are not.

Also - When I was in Silver (with my Level 6 bots) I used to see players with fully levelled MK II premium gear. Do they find that fun?

Again, probably my simplistic view, but I want a competitive game.

Some just like playing easy matches with easy targets(the unabashed 「multiple bum-bums」).
Some are actual noobs with some other players' advanced profiles who don't have the required skills to maintain their rankings.
Some are actually not trying to tank but just struggling with crappy teammates and that damn 50/50 win/loss marginalizer.
Some, like myself, have no regard at all for those completely ridiculous "league" rankings that only reflect equipment values for the most part. They have little to nothing at all to do with player skills or abilities for the most part.

I'm going to play hard in every match that I voluntarily participate in using whatever equipment that I choose to play with. I don't have any desire to be a seal clubber, but it does happen when I have a streak of bad teammates and/or I'm running lighter equipment(NOT under upgraded, just weaker). Then I once again get bored of running the same ol' same ol' and switch to something that is suddenly OP compared to where I ended up.

The fact that this is even possible can be argued that it was intended to be so by the developers. I certainly maintain that argument. PIXONIC denies it but it has been over three full years of implemented chaos and nothing about it has been changed. How else is one to interpret that kind of inaction by PIXONIC after so long and after so very many have been complaining about it and even trying to provide fixes to end it?

Amazon servers actually have the best matchmaking for this crazy crap setup. Most matches have fairly equal rank matching. Not all certainly. But way, way better than Android on average. But it does tend to crop the herd more quickly as well because noobs see monster hangers in every match right out of recruiting. Our player pool is so shallow that if PIXONIC dared to implement the LPQ there would no longer be an Amazon server.

I think I know a simple solution to the whole tanking/dropping issue. They can keep the leagues, they can even keep their mismatch making algorithm. All they need to do is level cap weapons and bots by league. So if you are in a silver league match, you might be level capped at bot and weapon level 7. This way, if you dump games to drop to a lower league, your magical expensive toys won't mean near as much. Sure you may have tarans on every bot, but you won't have twice the health and twice the damage of everyone else. You will still have an advantage, so there is a benefit to buying the toys, but it is not dominating. And since you can't dominate, there is almost no reason to dump.

I have had on occasion had to dump a match if I was playing and suddenly had to leave the game, or I had my internet connection go offline so it was an unintentional dump.

I just played a match that was just ridiculous.






And the match before that had this hemorrhoid in a match with a bunch of silver league lvl 6's.

We lost needless to say.





Since it is so very easy to fix, and many people have proposed multiple solutions, the only answer as to why it isn't being fixed is Dixonic WANTS it the way it is.  The game CAN be fun, but as someone that has spent the occasional purchase, (maybe CDN$40 in 3 months), I am not spending another penny with them until they fix it.  I will still play it occasionally, but I am not watching ads on my android account, not spending anything, in the hopes that if all the "normal" players do the same, they will see their advertising revenue diminish and the impact of thousands of lost small sales, vs a few hundred large ones they are trying to cater to.  I find that after 3 or 4 matches that are straight blowouts (either a loss for blue, or a ridiculous win, where one player killed everything, and you barely get a chance to play) I get annoyed, frustrated, bored, and pissed right 「fluffernutter」ing off.  So I stop playing for the rest of the day.



If 「wee-wee」sonic really wants a long term game they need to fix it before even the small whales get tired of being the ones being clubbed, and they destroy their user base.

If PIXONIC really wanted to fix the problem they could. After over three years of this ?dookie? it is more than obvious that they do not and have no intention of ever doing so.

The easiest way to fix the MM is to just dump those stupid "leagues" altogether and only have 12 tiers to play in to match the equipment levels. Allow each level of Mk2 equipment to step up to whichever tier actually more closely matches the Mk1 equipment in existing tiers. That would make Mk2 12 the most powerful in tier 12 matchings. A player's highest piece of equipment in their hanger would then determine which tier they get placed in for matching. If a player wants to run level 1 equipment only then they would get put in matches with level 1 equipment only. But if they change just one weapon or bot with another level then they get placed into that equipment's tier for matching. Maybe instead of 12 tiers just have four and matches in eachtier consist of three levels of equipment, 1-3, 4-6, 7-9, 10-12. Mixing and matching equipment in hangers would not affect matching tiers because only the most highly upgraded piece of equipment in a player's hanger would determine which tier they get matched in. No more clubbing. Not unless players just want to be clubbed themselves.tiers

But that's just a pipe dream. PIXONIC likes their ?dookie?ty matching algorithm because they believe it will incentivise addicted players to spend inordinate amounts of real money chasing their panda-dragons. And for some it actually does because there is just no way to eliminate stupid.
