Yes, this is a space for ranting and being angry at all sorts of things.
However, things are getting difficult to manage and moderate, especially with multiple threads on the exact same topic. So I will be creating some topic specific threads for some of the popular ranting topics and I ask that you all just put your complaints into those threads instead of constantly creating new threads every time you find another suspects tanker or get cheated by the MM.
While I understand the anger shown by folks against tanking and the need to shame them here, but I also ask that you do not make it inflammatory. It is also important to have reliable proof of such conduct as we have already seen some folks accused wrongly. With the connections the way they are right now, it makes it even harder to be sure. So please make sure that you are absolutely sure of your facts before making accusations. At the most, post your proof here and let people decide for themselves.
I will be making Sticky Threads for some of the more popular topics. If you think of any more, please let me know. Serious suggestions only. Trolls will be warned. (I enjoy a joke as much as the next guy, but my time to deal with forum related issues is limited. So please make the mod team's life easier.)
I ask that you respect this and abide by it.
Failure to do so will result in warnings and bans.

Made a thread that called out <<Guitar Guy>> for ditching and tanking along with lots of pictures of proof and someone closed it.
Was it closed because of the possible flaming of posts after it, or was it closed because I called out a tanker?

I locked it due to the flaming potential. You exposed him. Good for you. What else was there to say?
On that note, I will be closing all further "exposes" from now on if they are not in the threads that I have just provided. The number of threads is just getting out of hand.

I find it funny that people have the desire to "expose" tankers, clubbers, etc., or at a minimum acuse some one, especially when they don't tow the line. Whatever, crusade on!

Potential and actual are totally different. Well, cause it might happen.........I think heavy moderation because of a maybe is poor. Want to fix it,make a report thread where you can only report. Have a box for abuse being reported, if a member has already complained about pilot, their done. No more than one user complaint about one pilot. |
