I'm not talking about leaving to deliberately tanking stats. There are many other reasons to leave a game before it has ended, and here's my list:
1. Rude players. Nobody on my team wants to take beacons, so I make it half way across the map in a damn Fury, and right before I'm about to cap center beacon, all of a sudden someone on my team decides they want to start capping beacons... starting with the one I'm about to take. Of course they get there before me because Fury. /quit
2. Rude players again. Game starts and these 「bum-bum」 hats are trying to block me in for the lulz. /quit
3. 「whiskey tango foxtrot」 team. Game starts and reds all rush to cap beacons while the blue team is still at spawn, chucking Zenits into the air. /quit
4. Loss of bot control. This has only happened to me a couple times, but the controls will suddenly become "sticky". I.e. The movement pad will not snap back to center after lifting my fingers off the screen. The game basically becomes unplayable at that point. /quit
5. Connection issues.

LOL! I have a similar list... and I'm not laughing at you, but the circumstances. Ever play Overwatch? Mei-Trolls, 「bum-bum」-hats that insist on putting up her ice wall over the exit from the spawn zone, blocking the entire team... Yeah, humans suck

Can't beat them? Join them.
The current situation is so screwed beyond belief (my perspective at least) that I hardly give a damn anymore. Just play until u can't stand it no more, then quit is probably your only option.

I agree with you for the most part but I can't say I do this 100% of the time. The other day I dropped a Tosh for my second not. There was a Gary and 2 Patton's standing near the red home beacon. I made it over capped it and moved to the next beacon. As I capped it I noticed the first one blinking. I looked saw a Stalker hauling it away from the beacon. I waited 15 seconds band none of the three guys who were still standing there so much as flinched. Yup time to rage quit.

I protest the map balance of Springfield, if I see we're spawning city side with reds at farm/barn then I quit. (Usually within 15 seconds). I used to drop on Yama but now I tolerate it.

Yes please don't quit games, if you come across a lot of trident guys, last Springfield I was in, there were 5 of them! But you know what, ended up with like 350k in damages 5 gold and the win. They aren't going after the beacons, carnages do, but they are toast when they try for that third beacon. Just find a safe spot behind a wall and hold your ground. Like playing zone defense in football, not man to man.. find a beacon you can keep close to and defend it

Can't quit... even if I know it's a setup and I am going to lose 100% and we're not even 1 minute in to the game... I suck it up and deal with it.
If people were so gunho about quitting bad games then they'd quit when there's no challenge >.>
So no, I never quit. I'll take my freebies and my cheapshots k thx XD

I don't think anyone is genuinely scared that their pretend robot will get hurt. I play a mixed hangar with a bit of everything and if one guy is going to insist on running into open ground in a knife fighter, I'll happily switch to a sniper and use him for target practice. That's not cowardice, that's flexibility, strategy, common sense. Quitting maps because they don't suit one style seems a shame as your missing out on a big part of the game, but as long as you do it early enough to be replaced then I guess no harm done.

For me, flexible hangars are not as effective as purpose built ones. I put them together to be used as one multi-part war machine. I drop maps immediately until the one i have in mind comes up. takes awhile sometimes to get into games so a way to select which maps im willing to play at the moment would be a big plus for everybody. This would also be useful for Pixonic as they could ditch the maps most people wont play and put in new ones.

Quitting for me is about time. When I'm in a match that's behind on the bars with half my team missing facing 5-6 reds while only a single beacon is capped I quit. It's pretty much a waste of time to continue. I'd rather drop into a new match.

I used to fight to the death every match, but the change in MM is beating that out of me. I am sick and tired of being the #1 or #2 damage dealer on the losing side. I don't need the matchmaker wrongly identifying me as the strongest player on my side just because I always try to win and fight to the bloody end. That is a sure path to more losses. I'm on a terrible streak right now with group after group of blues who seem to be a mix of droppers and cowards. I think I'm just going to leave any game now where it doesn't look like my team has the will to come out aggressively and challenge the opposition... it's just too frustrating to give max effort only to have the MIA teammates and campers take a ?poo-poo? on any chance of the blues winning.

YOU ditch a map that doesn't suit your delicate palate, because you run an unbalanced hangar, and somehow it's the OTHER guys that are the cowards, when you won't face them and ditch? Amazing.

REALLY ignorant or lazy so therefore they don't capture the beacons because they are not bothered to (Lazyness) or don't care (Ignorance) I do have the sticky problem but it's minor. Same with connection (Either the server or your router)

Now THAT sounds like a camper if I ever heard one. Let me remind you that beacons win games so if you want to sit up on a ridge popping shots without much fear of taking any damage just to get your little bit of ag, by all means go ahead. I'm the guy earning his paycheck by fighting in the trenches to save the game and win gold. There are hundreds of games in the app store for sniping, go play one of those.

I wish I could buy you for what you know and sell you for what you think you know, I'd be rich! Because You sir, are PRICELESS! Now, let me remind you that I don't need tips from a ditcher. I've got my end covered VERY well without any worthless advice from you. By the sounds of things you aren't earning much of a paycheck if you have to ditch 30% of the maps you spawn in. You should really put some effort into learning how to play the maps. ALL the maps. And if you have to ditch 30% of your games, you know I'm sure there are hundreds of games in the app store for kids, go play one of those, you won't have to do anything hard, like, you know, play the game? I can't believe you ditch 30% of your games. ON PURPOSE even. And then try to tell me what? Man, at least I'm getting lulz here....... Next time, instead of making an ?bum-bum? of yourself, you should try to make comments on what you know, not what you think. I'm a camper.....LMMFAO! You win the Internets today there sport ?
