I was watching a Stew Pendous clip and saw him magically disappear into the left side wall down Dead City near the red beacon - to corner shot in his Boa. Stew Pendous indeed!! Where are those best hidden places to corner shoot with an Orkan, or top shoot with a Thunder - or any other gem?? Pics welcome.

My favorite is the canyon wall in the canyon map. If you are in the trench, facing the wall. Perfect to top shoot from a carnage. In certain spots, the red plasma will hit the ground harmlessly, while my guns can still hit. Will try to grab a pic the next time I visit.

Not really cover spots, but you can greatly corner shoot with the Gareth and Galahad at C5 and C4 to defend the beacon, or to add pressure, when your heavier squad members are going to take it. B10 is great for corner shooting, too. You can shoot over some of the smaller buildings with the Tarans, but that goes for G/H/I7/8/9 as well. That is just overall knowledge, but you have to remember the basics, right?

When starting at the factory side of Yamantau, after getting the far left beacon, there is that high bridge right in front. The second pillar is a great hiding spot for Gareth and Galahad. Great for corner shooting. You can even reach the ramp to center beacon. Range is about 320-340m. Perfect for plasma weapons. The pillar and the bridge provide good cover against snipers and you can corner shoot almost everything, that comes your way.

Problem is, when a Gary or Galahad with plasma loadout comes from F/E10. First he is in your blind spot, second he will circle you, third plasma ignores your shield. Which means Game over for your carnage. You must be very aware of enemy movements, when you want to do that. Oh, did I mentioned Tridents? They smoke you out easily.
Edit: Darn auto correct...

Hmm... nice suggestions here, I'm totally going to look for that wall in DC. There is a bump below the beacons where that ramp thing is that hides part of you like that too, but it only seems to bury the bottom of you and I can testify it doesn't stop any shots. A Gareth fits almost all the was in it but as I said, it's not protecting you from anything.
Today I found a great spot for top shooting a thunder and took out a Lance because he was in the wrong place. No pic sorry, but you can imagine it easy. In dead city the center bowl has a ton of notches feeding out, in between are a bunch of hills leading up. Well I was hiding in the notch and a Lance came up a hill, trying to ambush me in the notch I'm guessing. Thing is either I was too close to the wall, or he didn't get close enough to fire over the edge, and everything he had was going into the ground while I held the thunder button waiting to die. I was face planted on the wall in as close as I could get in my Leo, as said just holding on for dear life, and wound up peppering him to death from below
I'm guessing it's possible to shoot under the shield because it never popped off. Maybe thought I was getting hammered or just didn't bother looking because typically Lance vs Leo isn't a contest.

on Shenzhen, those small buildings along the front of the blue wavy roofed building make great cover. Position yourself close to one directly between your target and yourself and almost any robots weapons will fire around them wile your enemies will hit the building harmlessly. It takes quite a bit of micro maneuvering to keep the building between yourself and your target but it is totally worth it.

This is a mouthful. tl;dr - you can corner on the mini vents by the BC corner of the square on Shenzhen.
