I’m currently a mid-tier (silver I think) level player. Need some advice on some setups for mid range bots. Right now I’m piloting a Taran Fujin and a Thunder/ Aphid Natasha for my mid/close range bots. Anything I can change for better results? My budget is maybe 10M silver and 1K gold

On my Natasha I have been using dual thunders or Zeus with 2 ECUs. Works well for me.

Leveling a lvl8 taran to 9 is 8.5mio ag, and goes up substantially the higher you go. So the 10mio is not much, just bear that in mind and be cautious with leveling. But definitely level tarans. Mechs not so much, as this will change the higher you go. For natasha i like avenger with shredders or dragoon with sparks. All these weapons will serve you well up until higher leagues. Avenger have higher damage than thunders even up close.

10M Ag and 1K Au don't do much.
For mid-range I'll say get yourself a Griffin, then do Leadhose/RDB setup. All Ag build, last for quite a while.

Dragoon is the best MR build. Flux is the best sniper. If you want a low cost sniper, build 3 ballistas and put them on the fujin. You can alternatively, put 2 ballistas and 2 Arbalest on a Griffin, for a little more firepower (slightly more) but that extra Arbalest will mean you will spend 30 more days ugrading anotjer wealon. Arbalest and ballista have identical upgrade times, so it would be better to use 3 on a fujin. Alternative, you can do two gekkos on a Griffin with two ballistas. Gekkos start at 5 and don't take nearly as long to upgrade. 2 gekkos is like 90% the firepower ofba flux so the Griffin might be your best bet.
RDB Griffin also is a strong choice and will result in more damage but comes at a higher risk. Sniper builds are more usuefl to shut down other MR builds, which helps you win games on bigger maps.

RDB Griff is your best choice though. Fast upgrade times. You can buy it from the store. Can splash unlike the ballista.the ballista is more of a fun build. But if you don't take the game too serious, just get that ballista Gekko Griffin and annoy everyone. I would recommend building dragoon components 400 at a time when you get the chance. Don't waste silver on 100/200 component gear as the silver cost per 10 components isucb higher. 400 is the most cost effective.

Best mid ranger for me now is the..(drumroll)... Tulu Spectre. I use a 9/9 in high gold low diamond. Its got speed enough to reposition and properly cover your team mates, Stealth to get you out of trouble. Its a bit tricky to play but gives you loads of firepower and splash on tap and the ability to evaporate light bots and other spectres in a salvo. All other bots, just a bit over 2 salvos.
Challenges: anything missile or arty related, splash, dragoons and shocktrains. Best to go end them before they come after you.
Out of OPs price range at the moment, but something to work for.

Since you are looking for mid range capabilities, my advice would be to get a tulumba pin griffin. It does as much midrange damage as most Dragoon builds and the Tulus will last you till late in the game.
I know you are looking for mid range, but my advice would be to get two gusts, too. Also these will serve you for a long time, and some have spectacular success with gust tulumba builds. Gusts have fast reload so you put out damage continuously, even from a distance, and they can knock down shields first which makes your Tulu build more effective against ancil shielded bots.
Note: while I am serving up advice here, I have actually never played that setup myself, but neither Tulus nor Gusts will be waste of resources or time.
Have fun!
