Simple: super glue mirrors to the sides of your bot! Seriously if these futuristic pilots can afford a shocktrain, a complex, mind-boggling, massive, utterly devastating, unrealistic weapon, surely they could afford a few unbreakable mirrors. Maybe we have stumbled upon a new upcoming module?
But in all seriousness the best answer(s) for shocktrain bots are:
1. Cover. Use cover as if the moment you step out of it you will automatically get killed (which, if the ST user sees you, probably will happen)
2. Situational awareness. Watch them and their teammates' movements closely. Don't let anyone ruin your mission.
3. Burst bots. Use bots that have good speed, a jump of any sort, dash, or stealth.
4. Patience. Can't stress this enough. If they are in a heavily guarded area than by all means wait for another opportunity.
5. Make good use out of your time. If you can't reach them immediately, than be watchful for other opportunities to ambush others along the way. Just never lose sight of your ultimate goal, which is taking out the ST user.
The idea is to sneak up on them with a brawling bot using all cover available, watching carefully along the way to make sure you don't get ambushed, and as soon as they make themselves vulnerable in any way possible, capitalize on the moment. Don't let an opportunity slip past you. However, that being said don't be in too big of a hurry to get at them; take your time and make sure to get the full use out of any other opportunities that may present themselves to you.
Using this strategy I have been able to successfully rid my team of many a ST spectre, bulga, and haechi. If you have anything to add to this or if I missed something important than please comment away! Always interested to hear other's thoughts.
Note: this strategy is purely referring to situations where there is only one or two ST users, not more than that. If the other team is almost solely using shocktrain, than this strategy most likely will not work. The good ol' bum rush with a stealth or shielded bot is probably a better answer at that point.
